What is BUTYL?   Please describe!

I heard the formula was 4 Carbons

I don't see that in Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether, but that's what a chemist for a chemical co told me this summer

Said that through is career, the were removing the butyl from formulations

I just saw a PBS show on Alaska & melting glaciers

They said that 200 years ago there was 30% less CO2 in the air then, prior to the industrialized time (As glaciers melt the air of that period is released & scientists are analyzing it)

With what is happened to polar bears:  young too small, and higher mortality;
that is what EGBE does to people, so we should be looking at particular strong forms of Carbon,
not CO2

This PBS program "Fearless .... " said 80 trillion tons of ice is melting in Alaska every year - Contributes 10% of the rising oceans worldwide

Suspect CFIDS to often be present with NHL ... now the 5th leading cause of death in the USA

Very high white blood cell count?
May be a clue to 'the fatigue' or idiopathic anemia of CFIDS
Dear Margaret,

I suspect, somebody started to use 'butyl' instead of the chemical
name because it is shorter, this opens the way for confusion.

Greetings

Thanks for your input on what BUTYL is ...
short for EG-BUTYL ether?

I don't see it on the synonyms, though
One lady wrote for someone using stripper that had butyl/amine and could only find that it caused respiratory problems; what happened to her husband was that he had emergency liver surgery
& had to take 7 pints of blood first

EGBE affects Kidneys, liver, skin, blood & blood forming organs, central nervous system; causes tumors, but USA says it is not a very harmful chemical; best MSDS came out of the UK (that I found)
_______________

'cold' hoarseness? that they had these issues for 2 weeks straight.

These are some of the signs of the chemical exposure I am concerned about
It might be just sniffles, farting, diarrhea,
to full, serious 'flu' symptoms

http://www.valdezlink.com/evos /feel.htm
Oil spill workers who came in contact
with the 2-butoxyethanol chemical of cleanup
will feel like those with CFS,CFDIS, FM, ME

... like the 'gulf war syndrome' vets
(I've nicknamed it 'civilian gulf war syndrome'

It affects many organs and glands,
but the fatigue of CFIDS that doctors say they don't know what it is, is the proof of Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether overexposure.

It causes, per research, hemolytic anemia. (AUTOIMMUNE)

& I suspect, also, the CFIDS

They are looking for this anemia in my friend, Norma right now,
and I shared some thoughts with the lab tech
at Providence Hospital last week,
I hope they took note

The CFIDS checklist (there are several) but mine has emphasis on fatigue clues

I suspect this young man - Tallest Man in the World
came into contact with this chemical:
(Probably prior to his conception a parent was overexposed), growth abnormalities (tall or short) affecting the pituitary ... are some of what it does
Note my additions at page bottom

  • I would ask someone,  "What exactly were you doing when the sniffles/diarrhea 'cold' symptoms started up?
  • Cleaning products  www.valdezlink.com/pages /cleanconcluding.htm
  • Painting?  Even latex paint has EGBE in it - But warning only stated Ethylene Glycol ... it can be mixed with 720 + other things, but butyl must be a worst
  • Or did someone new come around?  (second hand solvent exposure is possible)

This chemical can cause high or low blood sugar, high or low blood pressure; high or low body temp; High or low ... any glandular hormones - often thyroid with gall bladder issues prior; Horrible headaches; short term memory loss

not just a virus or cold? *

recognize the harm of EGBE ...  *

Suspect Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether for Cancers, too *

Actually the list the Vietnam vets put forward *

Sincerely,

I hope you will seriously consider this chemical exposure for causing 'flu' and so many cancers and autoimmune issues
