I've noticed a couple of the programs on Mystery Diagnosis.  Most recently what was happening to LaShan Davies and Jane Strauss.  There is a particular chemical exposure that looks like 'the flu' and causes the assortment of symptoms that these 2 women both exhibited.

My thoughts shared here ... would like to be able to contact their doctors

OK,  You say the only thing that comes to mind is memory loss ... out of the list of symptoms for FM?

 
So, don't recall a serious flu?  Did a parent or someone you have been spending time with?
 
 
Besides back pain & legs not working right & besides Memory Loss ...
Do you also have fatigue?  Shortness of Breath?  The Chills?
 ... things such as 'chronic Fatigue Syndrome ' symptoms ?
 
 
Take a good look at these symptoms & circle ones that apply to you
 
 
 
 
Diagnosis like FM, CFS, CFIDS mean that there is nothing definitiive that the tests show up as being the problem.  They are sort of 'catch all' diagnosis when doctors do not know what else could be the problem.
 
Generally medications do not help this group of people, and can add more harm. (My opinion)
 
 
Many times a turmor is blamed for what the chemical that causes tumors should be blamed for
 
It should be blamed for what diabetes is blamed for,
as that, too, is a side effect of a particular chemical exposure
