"I'm asking you to send a prayer up for Jessi in Alaska .She's the 3 year old on the dolphin. Jessi was diagnosed Jan 10, 2007 with Leukemia. She's being sent to Seattle for radiation treatments.  She needs prayers.  She is such a sweetie.  She & her sisters play with our kids - Deanna
They have diagnosed her with ALL  (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia).
As of 1-15-07 she is currently into day 3 of chemo.

Jessi Just had the 'sniffles' .... Pray for Jessi- Age 3 in 2007

Did she have AIHA with NHL?   *  *

She was tired, listless, pale, and her gums & nose started bleeding.  Dr was quick enough to see what it was and life flighted her just in time to Providence in Anchorage where she had several transfusions so she was stable enough to be sent to Seattle Children's for treatment.
Almost no red blood cells; elevated blood sugar & getting insulin

1-13-07   Dear Margaret Diann,

Thank you for sharing. St Jude Children’s Research Hospital has recently released the great news that our cure rate for the most common form of childhood cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic or Lymphocytic Leukemia) now has a cure rate of 94%.  This is outstanding news.

My daughter was also a Leukemia patient and a high risk one diagnosed at age 19 months in 1991. She is now 12 ½ years off treatment and doing great. She is 16 years old.

It is a tough road to go through and the support of her friends like you will really be needed throughout her treatment.

If they would like to consult with the doctors here at St Jude for our treatment protocol, they may reach them at 866-278-5833 ext 4055.

Thank you again for sharing and I wish and pray the very best for this precious child and family.

Sincerely,  Sandra Sellers - Donor Services  1-800-822-6344

"Praying in the spirit for Jessi,"  Patricia Lynn, California

She is a sweetheart and our best friend's little boy had leukemia at age 4
and is now ok as he had a stem cell transplant from his brother and he went
through host graft disease but his dad make him exercise to keep limbered up
and he is now 16 and doing fine.  Nothing is impossible with our Lord and I
will be praying for Jessi.  Love ya,  Beth (Spouse of a Vietnam Vet)

These are difficult times.  I’ve prayed for Jessi.

My niece survived Leukemia as a child 25 years ago and now is a nurse herself.

"Thank you for notifying us for prayer.  We will be praying for this little girl and let us know of any progress" Wilbur.

I will most definitely pray for her and thank you for letting me know.

I lost my son of a brain tumor and the little girl in his room had leukemia so I know all the symptoms of both,  It is horrible to watch them die and be helpless to help them.  My son was 6 years old when he died.  If he lived he would be in his 50's now.  One never forgets. It is heartbreaking for the family unless they have a cure nowadays.  They have my sympathy.  Please let me know if the little girl makes it.
I hope they can save her.

We keep hearing of remarkable responses in leukemia when the standard therapy is combined with the improved nutrition provided in the supplements. *  Unfortunately, the doctors do not approve or want this done.  I have to hear of such children’s deaths while the others live. It is a miserable situation.
