2-butyl ethanol exposure

What is BUTYL?   CH3(CH2)2CH2 This is 2butyl?

Many cleaning products that are said to be safe, ARE NOT  *

So sorry for the loss of your pet,
and the anemia/ cough that you are experiencing

I believe that small bodies / such as pets have,
can get too much exposure before a bigger animal (like us) would
http://www.valdezlink.com/re/msn/ourpets/menu.htm

The harm of glycol ether / whether made from oil or from corn (natural)

is what you are looking at

I think the most serious exposure is vapors getting into your eyes

Maybe the carpet cleaning person wore air tight goggles / good hand protection, etc

The anemia is what your dog had/

but for you it is 'approaching' AIHA

So many autoimmune issues start up at the same time,
that the anemia (Proof of glycol ether ... usually 2-butoxyethanol ... would be the cause)

So, I suspect this is the anemia that those who have CFIDS, CFS, FM have

The vapors hang in the air, and with our air-tight rooms ... you keep getting exposed (cough is one sign of chemical over exposure whether this or other)

Flu symptoms, in my opinion, have little if anything to do with a virus ...  *  look for glycol ether exposure Immediately BEFORE the flu symptoms start up

Glycol Ether Exposure 'looks like' the flu   *
http://www.valdezlink.com/re/flu/swine/glycolether.htm

Most of the time, flu is caused by a chemical exposure NOT a virus *

. .  and anemia Caused by

Most probable cause of  'the flu' *

Practical suggestions:

Turn on the air vents at the bathrooms / range ... for about half an hour

Open windows and put a fan in the house,

and get the existing air OUT (I think the fumes hang in the air)

On some of these links are helps to find the anemia,
but you have to have a doctor who is interested
and open to new suggestions

ask the doctor to have the lab tech LOOK at the red blood cells
and find out everything about them

Even very high white blood cell counts can eventually indicate a more advanced  AIHA or IMHA
NOT an infection as is generally suspected

Medical Surveillance:
Consider the points of attack (liver, kidneys, lymphoid system, skin, blood, eyes, respiratory system) in placement and periodic physical examinations.

2-Butoxyethanol causes acute hemolytic anemia in rats
In F344 male rats, 2-butoxyethanol causes severe acute hemolytic anemia resulting in significant increase in the concentration of free plasma hemoglobin. Secondary to the hemolytic effects, 2-butoxyethanol also caused hemoglobinuria as well as histopathologic changes in the liver and kidney.
*Notes to Physician: Administration of Sodium bicarbonate may be of value to treat acidosis.
Monitor kidney and liver function and arterial blood gases closely.

Doctors say they do not know what the fatigue of CFIDS, CFS, FM is

I suspect the exposure to 2-butoxyethanol or other glycol ether from carpet cleaning caused the near death of Jett Travolta when he was 2.  The doctors notice that an autoimmune issue called Kawasaki Syndrome happens often after carpet cleaning ... for children.  I think it caused his Autism * and eventual seizures (which can be from lack of oxygen)  *

Jett Travolta must have run into this type of chemical at age 2 *, took until age 16 before he died *
