When I am around BUTYL it causes my nose to 'run' ... I get the 'sniffles or a loosening of the sinuses. Any product that has an EPA registration number is a clue to it having a seriously harmful pesticide component. Wear good quality air tight goggles if you are going to use these products and chemical retardant gloves. Air the house out before the rest of the family comes around.
Some Fantastik products contain BUTYL which is the most health hazardous component in many products. It is cause of the epidemic of cancers and autoimmune issues, and I suggest you do not use BUTYL & join a campaign to have Congress Ban it. Even 5% can be harmful if you spray the whole bottle in a place - which is what a renter did before departing & causing us to have exposure/ congestion that this chemical causes when we worked in the place for days afterwards The next day I received a call from 'the complaint' dept, but the lady said they didn't have any harmful components in the Fantastik product. I said I had loosening of the sinuses that is still ongoing, and that is how I recognize a mild exposure to BUTYL for me. Lasting a week, maybe isn't a mild exposure, however. I said she needed to be looking at the MSDS, not whatever list of ingredients she was finding Just because a company is says a product is 'safe' or non toxic .... does not mean that is the case -
