Norma White

There are no words to describe the loss of my mate of 43 years, she meant everything to me and I continually reminded her of this as her time on this earth drew near to a close. I miss her terribly and my heart is broken.....

When I was a little girl growing up in Copper Center, Shelly and I were inseparable and Norma was like a second mother to me. I loved her dearly, but I know that she is in Heaven with Shelly now and smiling down on all of us here. She gave me the first bible I ever owned in my life and I always treasured it. Much love to her family, my prayers are with you all! Monica Trickey (Walker)

We were so sorry for those of us who remain, but so glad to hear that Norma is now rejoicing with her Savior. We've spent many hours in prayer for her, but now we can rejoice with her. We wished to come to her memorial, but time and situation did not allow it, so we just want you to know that she was a very important part of our lives when we lived in Tazlina. She was one of my closest friends there, and I treasure her smiles and her laughter. God be with all of you, her family,  Fondly,

Grace and Peace to all who serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am Norma's nephew Thomas Kirk. I did not have the priviledge of knowing my aunt. I do however have the comfort of knowing three things; First, that our God chose to save my Aunt from before the foundation of the world. Second; that Jesus Christ died for not only for her sin but for the sin of all who would ever bow their knees in repentance to our Holy God. Third, that The Holy Spirit of God, in due time made my aunt, who was dead in sins and trespasses (as we all were) ALIVE in Christ Jesus. (Eph 1; 2) So I praise God that though she is no longer here, she has been granted a much better lot, even Eternal Life in Christ. Thomas M. Kirk

When I heard the whisper on the wind I knew you had gone.
When I saw the mist leave with the dawn I knew you had gone.
When I felt the gentle wave of silence I knew you had gone.
When I tasted the salt of the silent tears falling I knew you had gone.
When I heard the rush of Angels I knew you were home.

This is Jamie, Jeremy, Jessica and Kendra. We will always have good memories of Aunt Norma. She treated us all the same. She always told us to follow the Lord in all things, and put him first. When Aunt Norma came for a visit, you could hear her and mom laughing and talking. They would talk about the Lord, they would watch TBN and talk of the things of God. All the time mom would call Aunt Norma about prayer things, and Aunt Norma would call mom with prayer requests. Her laugh would make you laugh, she just made you feel good. We didn't get to know her as well as if she lived down here, but it was always good to see her. She was so kind. We will miss her too, and I know my mom will miss her a lot. We will never forget the trip we all got to take to Ocean Shores, she and mom loved the ocean, the pool and the restaurants. We are glad she was our aunt and will never forget her. Your nieces and nephews. Jamie, Jeremy, Jessica and Kendra.

  Duane, Randy and Stacy!
I'm so sorry and wish I could do or say something that will make you feel better.

We embrace you tenderly with our thoughts and prayers during this time as we ponder, even through the sorrow the eternal glory that has dawned for precious Norma.

I sit in the Recliner that I bought from her last fall and think of her every time I sit in it.

She was always good to me as I was Debbie's sister.
She gave of herself always and always had a smile and I can still hear her laughter.

God Bless and I'll never forget you Norma. The angels rejoiced when you came home!

Norma was my older sister and my memories of her will always be of how she and Duane took me in, in California and let me stay with them for awhile. She was always there for me if I needed her, along with her prayers and wisdom. We had so much fun together, her laughter, and sense of humor. Her walk with the Lord was amazing, and the knowledge she gained was as pure gold. I will miss her greatly and it will not be the same without her here with us. I know she is with the Lord and family members who have gone before her and a grand reunion waited as she entered Heavens Gates. I love you Norm and miss you. John Kirk / Brother

Norma White was a great mother-in-law and a wonderful friend. I could talk to her about anything. Alex and Payton will miss their Grandma very much. Even though our hearts are heavy we can take comfort and find peace in knowing she is no longer hurting and is in the presence of Our Savior.

Mom was a kind heart and a helping hand to many. I would ask that you not sorrow greatly in her passing for we know that our time on this earth is nothing more than a few minutes at the bus stop of eternity. She has earned her great reward. We all feel some loss with her passing even as Jesus did with the passing of his brother, but remember he then pounded his chest as said, "I am the redeemer." Take heart from this knowing that those in Christ will see her again one day soon. Learn from mom's example and be a help to others, for we make a difference to mankind in Christ with one act of random kindness at a time. When you think of mom, smile and celebrate a saint receiving her great reward.

Norma's warmth and love was a perfect example of a Christian that walked close to the Lord. When she passed I could only think of the hymm "I'm safe in the arms of Jesus". We will miss her warm smile, gentle voice and cheerful heart. Thinking often of the times that we shared and fellowshipped together. Our prayers are with her family that the Comforter will draw close and that the peace that passes all understanding will be with you all.

. Norma's leaving us causes me to reflect on how important past relationships continue to be as the years roll by. -- we never let go of the hometown we build in our hearts,. Norma was a mother figure in mine. The last time I visited her at home, it was as if I'd been there yesterday. Along with youth’s memories, her personalized expressions of faith and her soft, sing-song voice will always stay with me. I look forward with those who share her faith to seeing her again in God's timing. My deep and heartfelt condolences to all who loved her.

I miss my best dearest friend of over 37 years. Life will never be the same for me without her. We shared a bond that never kept us apart as friends. She was like a big sister to me. I feel that you only have that one chance in life to have a friend as close as we were. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren so much and felt so much sorrow and sadness loosing her oldest daughter, Shelly. But she lived for the Lord Jesus and it helped her sorrow. I know that she will be watching and praying for each one of us and that we will see her in heaven. My heart goes out to her family and everyone that had the blessing and pleasure of knowing Norma.

. Norma was a very special woman in the eyes of the Lord, friends and family. I wish I could have sat down and talked about her years in OR. It seems she went to school with my older sister. It would have been nice to convey that to her. Her glowing smile and companionship will be greatly missed. Gone from the body but not the mind.

. My Aunt Norma will be greatly missed.
I didnt get to see her as much as we wish we could have as when they would come down to Washington State because of our schedules.

The memories of when we did see each other and her great cooking will live on forever. I know she is having a great time now with the Lord and being able to see her daughter and her Mother & Father who she truly loved with all her heart.

All I ask of you Lord is that you will let me touch peoples hearts and help them the way she always did

. Norma was a dear friend and wonderful neighbor for over 30 years. We spent many hours together visiting, laughing and a few tears shed. Many an election night was spent til early morn counting those votes! Norma always put her family and their needs first, then friends, never thinking of herself and her own needs. She truly served the Lord, and now is at home. God bless all of the family.

. Norma was a perfect example of a good Christian. I know she is with Jesus her Savior now and she is w/ Chelle and they are laughing and having a good time. We will miss her so much here on Earth. She always made me laugh and she was always full of love. My heart aches for the loneliness the family will feel w/ her gone. But at least she is not suffering anymore.
