I have recently been told a couple of situations about exposure to propane gas:  memory loss, lack of oxygen in blood, blood in urine, MS

 
I looked up a propane MSDS ... & wonder if there is enough similarities in additives to have same or similar effect as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether
 

Ethane
Propylene
Butanes  (Butyl???)
Ethyl Mercaptian

I am also reminded of someone with horrible FM pain who commented about having an air conditioner leak ... their eyes burned and hurt so badly ....  I checked it out, and there is 2-butoxyethanol in refrigeration collants

This woman eventually tried surgery to cut the nerves, (Against her doctor's advice) but it had to be redone
