My concern
for Chad & his situation today
I was thinking how I first met
Chad and Hawk on this very forum. I hadn't
really heard much from Chad, however, I had
spoken to him a couple of times and e-mailed
also. Anyway, you can read the link I just made
and see how he's doing.
I only share on one chemical exposure, as I know
it well.
I
spend a lot of time learning about it.
If I am correct in my theory that
2-butoxyethanol in one of its forms is the
primary cause of harm; then it is provable.
There will be
compensating hemolytic anemia
which is the fatigue that underlies all the
other problems. More has to be checked in the
red blood cells to find it; but it is findable,
and in my opinion, the common denominator
Red
blood cells are made at an accelerated rate in
an acute exposure
and
blood in urine

Take a stand against
injustice.

Just weighing in about the
Navy not having Gulf War Illness thing.
I served in Desert Shield/Storm I was in the US
Navy on a Sub.
I was diagnosed with
G6PD blood enzyme
deficiency in US Navy.
It long story but some my symptoms have
been/are:
- Rash mainly on chest
where abdomen meets,
- Chronic pain from
physical exertion the pain plays musical
chairs unless it gets in head and then it
lasts hours in head usally I dont know why
that is.
- I used to get Migranes
this stopped when I began getting tingling
in arms and legs at end of 2001. The
tingling eventually turned into pain.
- RSD from simple hand
break with no nerve damage resulting in loss
of two fingers
-
Gallstones
- Inability to sleep
normally on average 2 to 3 hours sleep a
night without meds.
- Blisters/Carbuncles -
foliculitis
diagnoisis
- First symptoms 1995 or
1996 I had physcially was
a huge swollen lymph
node in my left neck made me
look grotesque was told it was cat scratch
fever.
I have been told repeatedly I don't have
Gulf War Illness but sorta strange that my
symptoms are so similar to many others and
its the only explanation that fits. I been
tested for anything they can think of and
nothing has ever come up.
The bad thing about this illness is so many
have so similar symptoms but no exact match
at all.

FOLICULITIS? I bet it's autoimmune:
presence of an autoimmune
disease (pemphigus foliaceus) and an
infection of ... incluyó una dermatitis
superficial infiltrativa y una
foliculitis mural con ...
Maybe no exact match ... but there is an
identifiable pattern
I'll write more soon on everything you've
shared on
Look through this info ... for 'the pattern'
Other good info on this site, too.
Some of my thoughts on why this chemical is
the chemical of concern....
& be sure to avoid it today. It is very
prevalent for civilians as well as military
The VA should stop giving you 'the run
around'
and add EGBE exposures to the list of
approval for health ailments that include
CFIDS & the issues that spring out of it

Wes: Maggie, in my case most
the evidence I have points to the anthrax shot
causing my issues and took me years to compile.
DU isn't a possible exposure for me but some
things that are exposures:
- Diesel Fumes
- Shots possibly (mostly
likely cause in my case)
- Radiation Exposure (from
Sub service)
- Slight possibility of
Sarin exposure but to be so slight chance
for that non-existent, but I learned a long
time ago never say never.

Maggie: "I know that many things are blamed for
the health issues ....
But again, as I've looked into this and that,
the whole of what you have come down with, is
not the match for all that ails you ...
as the pattern of harm of EGBE is ... it is a
near perfect match ... if there is any such
thing
It is synonymous for CFIDS ... for 'the flu'
