MY HUSBAND WAS ALSO IN NAM FOR 2 TOURS, IN WHICH HE HAS DIABETES ALONG WITH TOO MANY OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS TO MENTION. THE LAST IS TRYING TO DETERMINE IF HE HAS BEEN HAVING MINI STROKES.

OUR 2 DAUGHTERS HAVE HEALTH ISSUES, LARGELY WITH THE RENAL/KIDNEYS DEFORMED AND THYROID.

I WAS TOLD SINCE THEY ARE NOT ON THE "LIST OF HEALTH ISSUES" AND THAT I WAS NOT IN NAM, PRETTY MUCH TOUGH LUCK.

and so are the health concerns of your 2 children: adrenal and thyroid, yes, yes and more, more, more:  Does your husband recall a serious FLU?

Ms. Diann: I do not recall. She was trying to lose weight; she was checked by 2 different docs, our family doc is the one that found the thyroid problem. The one w/ renal, found out about 6 yrs ago due to having high blood pressure. When she would go for physicals for sports, docs that white coat syndrome. That is when we discovered the deformity, one size of new potato and the other the size of an Idaho potato. She has been tested for thyroid, seems ok at this time. The other will be tested after 1st of year for renal. She has to have surgery of her nose, along with tonsillectomy (in Jan). Why do you ask about flu? Nancy
