You can be exposed second hand, or get some exposure prior to your conception, or get too much exposure by the cleaning, painting that you do yourself. Exposure looks like the flu and what is often blamed on a virus is actually this particular chemical's poisoning. As a teratogen chemical it can cause multiple autoimmune issues and birth defects.
