agent orange and spina bifida

My husband was exposed to agent orange in Korea in 1968-1969. We had a stillbirth child in 1973. I don't know if it is affecting 3rd generation but I have a grandchild with spina bifida and also when she was born her lungs were deformed.

The term spina bifida covers malformations that always include deformities of certain parts of the vertebrae, the spinous process and vertebral arch. It has been described as a failure of these bones to fuse during early fetal development.

Harms the developing fetus?

I heard that 2-butoxyethanol was mixed into the Dioxin mix to help it adhere to the foliage. www.valdezlink.com/pf_jetfuel-5.htm

If so, THAT chemical does all the whole long list of things I've seen written about Dioxin. So, THAT chemical is a teratogen and it does cause things such as the 'gulf war syndrome' vets are finding, such as you mention

Don't many of the harm to Vietnam Vets look similar to that of other military?

I am sorry to hear of this

Why I looked into 2-butoxyethanol

Which is known or suspected to be a teratogen -

A chemical which harms the developing fetus

gulf war vet's child

Exposure to this teratogen * enters through the eyes.

What about cleft pallet?  (Soft tissues don't close right)

What about Anencephaly? (Brain doesn't finish forming - nor skull)

Usually would be still birth
