Suicide: Remembering
Garrett by Senator Gordon Smith
his son was suffering from
deep depression ... (died @
age 22)
My comments to him:
April 21, 2006
Dear Senator Gordon Smith,
I am very sorry to hear
about your son, Garrett. I
saw you talk just now on CNN
360
The member of our family
exposed to 2-BE struggles with
depression for past 17
years. In his case he quit
taking
Prozac
after one year
of being on it, as he said
it did no good. He was
exposed to 2-butoxyethanol
when he was 18 years old as
a bioremediation worker of
the Exxon Valdez oil spill
cleanup (the CFIDS causing
chemical: 2-butoxyethanol)
Bart Stupak's son committed
suicide after taking
Accutane
*
for acne ... there
is an inert butylated
ingredient in that which I
suspect for this kind of
hopelessness/depression.
The person in my family who
was exposed to
2-butoxyethanol is every day
depressed, every day tired
... and others don't give
him any 'space' for being
poisoned. All the same he
has been a successful
person. He graduated in
civil engineering, has built
several homes for his
family, flies a plane.
I write web pages about what
it took me 4 years to learn.
Note the checklist of how to
recognize 2-butoxyethanol
overexposure.
In my son's case, Exxon was
taking blood, and they found
the hemolytic anemia,
but didn't tell him.
We need to pay more
attention to the FATIGUE of
CFIDS
to get to the core of this
chemical's harm:
Sincerely,
Margaret Diann, Box

A cause of
horrible
headaches &
short term
memory loss can
be caused from a
commonly used
chemical in
paint & in
products that
clean. Affects
carpenters,
mechanics,
housewives, &
MILITARY! Was
used in 1989 &
could have
affected Valdez
people as well
as EVOS workers.
After oil, the
only chemical
exposure that is
the same for
gulf war vets
and Exxon Valdez
oil spill
cleanup workers
... is
2-butoxyethanol
C6H14O2/CH3(CH2)2CH2OCH2CH2OH
The fatigue is
the provable
harm, but hard
to find.
