Alexandra Scott
diagnosed with
neuroblastoma at age
one
June 11, 2004: Alexandra
Scott diagnosed with
neuroblastoma at about
age one, alex scott is
now eight years old,
still battling her
cancer and on a mission
to raise $1 million to
fight the disease.
she's doing it with a
lemonade stand.
And others, too
You can tell by the news
comments in an interview
mid Nov with Alexandra's
mother, Liz Scott, that
the little 8 year old
girl had died. But she
raised money with her
lemonade stand ... for
pediatric cancer
research ... & it is
ongoing.

What is
neuroblastoma?
Neuroblastoma
is one of
the most
common solid
tumours of
early
childhood
usually
found in
babies or
young
children.
The disease
originates
in the
adrenal
medulla or
other sites
of
sympathetic
nervous
tissue. The
most common
site is the
abdomen
(near the
adrenal
gland) but
can also be
found in the
chest, neck,
pelvis, or
other sites.
Most
patients
have
widespread
disease at
diagnosis.

Adrenal and nervous
system tumors?
I've been learning about
a chemical that could
cause such.
Although I am not
implying that in this
case there is any
connection |

Baby with Neuroblastoma
+ Cerebral Palsy
Yesterday I was shopping at
the second hand store & the
lady working there perked up
when I said I wanted to use
a large container for mixing
lemonade when I have the
next fund raiser for
neuroblastoma
...
like
Alex, the little girl who
died of it last year did.
(She was only 8 years old
and had been diagnosed with
it since she was one year
old)
The worker said to me, "My
son weighed 8 pounds at
birth, but by the time we
knew what was wrong with
him, he was skin and bones.
My son was born with
cerebral palsy &
neuroblasatoma - had 2 lbs
of tumors mostly around his
stomach. We knew something
was wrong because he kept
throwing up all his food. I
had to teach him how to
suck, and that took 5 days.
When we saw the doctors he
was diagnosed with
neuroblastoma tumors. He
went through a lot of chemo
therapy. Then we had the
tumors on his kidneys to
deal with. My son had to
have all his baby teeth
pulled out because the chemo
damaged the enamel. The
doctors said he might have
stunted growth. He's our
miracle child, because he is
alive and 27 years old now."
... just e-mailed this info
to her. I believe that if my
theory is right: that
2-butoxyethanol exposures
would cause such ... there
should be a lot of exposures
to have such a severe
situation ... and that we
should find it. I also
shared that I felt there was
help for her son's cerebral
palsy. A doctor from Kansas
shared with me that they
have had amazing results
using glyconutrients ... for
diabetes and cerebral palsy.

MS is accompanied by the following signs and symptoms.

- Loss of bladder control

- Mood disturbances

Lorenzo's Oil was a
touching documentary
Lorenzo now
ald
Adrenoleukodystrophy
(ALD)
Could a girl be
affected prior to
her birth if one or
both parents had
serious exposure to
2-butoxyethanol? Or
could she be
affected by her own
exposures throughout
her life?
Then could she have
what would cause ALD
in her child?
ALD is said to be
genetic - on a mom's
X chromosome

... but
are
there
some
similarities?
I
noticed
in the
film
that
they had
a trial
study of
immune
suppression,
which
leads me
to
believe
that the
immune
system
was
noticed
as being
'over
active'
I would
suspect
autoimmune.
When
Lorenzo's
dad
noticed
that the
Polish
rat
study,
and the
camera
panned
on what
he found
of
interest,
there
was
another
word,
such as
hyper or
hypo
thyroidism.
These
would be
a part
of what
could
come in
'the
package'
of
2-butoxyethanol
poisoning.
I also
wonder
about
neuroblastoma
such as
Alex had.
Is
neuroblastoma
autoimmune?
Take a
urine
test in
babies
for
early
diagnosis?
or
hemangiomas
such as
happen
to
babies
because
they can
also be
internal:
on
spleen,
pancreas,
liver,
spine.
Often
baby was
premature?
and of
low
birth
weight?
Things
that are
indicative
of this
chemical's
harm, as
well. |
|
|
If
2-butoxyethanol
were
involved
there
would
be
autoimmune
hemolytic
anemia
evidenced
by
red
blood
cells
that
are
mostly
immature
& in
the
early
years,
trace
blood
in
urine.
Check
'retic'
rate
&
track
it
over
time. |
