You don't get to be the kind of sharpshooter Charles Whitman was without a lot of target practice (gun fumes in one's eyes) and doing a lot of gun cleaning (glycol ether must be very STRONG in some of the gun cleaners.) http://www.valdezlink.com/re/vets/aglycolether.htm

Feb 14, 2008   DEKALB, Ill. — Stephen Kazmierczak, the gunman who shot and killed five Northern Illinois University students had recently stopped taking medication. What medications? Zoloft * Prozac * and?  Died at age 27 - Also previously in the military.  He was discharged from the United States Army in February 2002 for unknown reasons /
Kazmierczak enlisted in September 2001, and was separated before he completed basic training, a defense official told ABC News. Reasons for his separation include not revealing a condition during initial screening, or not adapting to military life. The Privacy Act forbids the Army from characterizing the reason for Kazmierczak's discharge. abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=4296984
This young man's involvement with exposure to medications may have been more a factor than exposure to glycol ether in the military / However, we expose our children all the time with such chemicals in carpet cleaner and home cleaning products. And the glycol ethers are so seriously health damaging, that you don't have to have very much exposure to cause serious harm.  One man was exposed second hand after attending a sports event (sat next to the wrong person) and he became immediately ill, developed a brain tumor that grew to the size of a grapefruit and he died within 6 months.  Ray's story of sudden flu - brain tumor - death

Like these 3 soldiers ... they died after 'flu' symptoms:

I wish their doctors could consider the harm of glycol ether

How many episodes of 'flu' have these had?

Hostile, Irrational thinking - behavior compared to before - Paranoid?

Hard to control ANGER Outbursts - Hard to live with or work with *

'all the time depression' can be an autoimmune action on the central nervous system'

that glycol ether exposure causes *  *  * (Very common place)

For glycol ether Central Nervous System symptom effects

 ... I would suspect these:
(AUTOIMMUNE?)

Autoimmune Central Nervous System Signs: Loose your temper easily? Central Nervous System *

  • Short term memory loss

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Personality changes to 'grumpy' - Extreme Irritability

  • Difficulty sleeping at night - Sleep apnea?  Narcolepsy in the extreme?

  • All-the-time Depression

  • Suicidal Tendencies *

  • Mimics true psychiatric disorder - Paranoia

  • (PTSD)

Exposure to 2-butoxyethanol (a glycol ether) 'looks like' the flu *
