Many times sudden onset of 560 blood sugar is with flu symptoms and horrible fatigue. If doctors look, and if it is this chemical exposure, there will be blood in urine. Also at 2.5 days after exposure, 

there will be a slightly elevated 'retic' count. BUT only at that time

I think diabetes whether sudden onset, or as a late to show up birth defect from a parent poisoned by it

... is secondary to 2-butoxyethanol poisoning

There are lots of theories out there. But with all the research ... still an epidemic in WWII nations especially; and now also in China, I heard. With their escalating industrialization and widespread pollution thereby, it is no wonder there is an increase in diabetes ... & that Autism is skyrocketing, too.

                   They should look at this chemical more than anything else, as the root cause.

There is an autoimmune aspect to Autism, too, by the way.

By now researchers are at a loss to know why this 'epidemic' or what to do for it. I think it is autoimmune hypothalamus which is the master gland. I think that it is the reason also for the fever & subnormal body temps; for the high or low blood pressure; for the high or low blood sugar.

And for the whole spectrum of CFIDS, CFS, FM symptoms, which 2-butoxyethanol exposures should be suspect for causing

                         This is why I suspect the 'epidemic' of diabetes in Australia
