| I have looked into the harm of
2-butoxyethanol seriously for the past 7 years because someone in my
family was harmed by it during the beach cleanup of the Exxon Valdez
oil spill cleanup These workers look like the gulf war vets 'with syndrome' and these Vets should also look like the Vietnam Vets / other soldiers, too
I have learned to write web pages to share my conclusions & different perspective with this chemical in mind. With all the research done now-a-days so many things are just said to be 'syndromes' or autoimmune issues that are idiopathic. They can tell and describe fully what is going on, but the researchers do not know what causes it ... and they don't know what to do to help. All types of autoimmune issues including diabetes and cancers are reaching epidemic proportions with no end in sight, and many times the medications that people are given are more harmful than helpful. For issues such as Crohn's and CJD doctors are just treating the symptoms and helping people to be 'more comfortable.' No cure is known.
I have learned that it is not good enough to link to the sources, but that I need to make back up copies ... as web pages change and will come up 'Not Found' when you click on the links First website to help me understand this chemical was the NJ Hazardous Substance Fact Sheet:
This is where it is located now NJ Hazardous Chemical Fact sheet on 2-butoxyethanol pdf 6 pages Where it was first ... link no longer works These are listed as solvents the Gulf War Troops 1990-1991 were exposed to original source (link still works) EPA - tested as pesticide Is an EPA Registration required on both of these? Or just the compounded version?
EPA /CA study still there
