What is THE Most Probable cause of Jett Travolta's death?

The chemical exposure that would cause Kawasaki Syndrome (BUTYL or 2-butoxyethanol - an organic solvent & a pesticide) is also a cause of serious anemia. I suspect this advanced autoimmune hemolytic anemia was the more probable cause of death. It is not generally found by doctors, but it can be.

Kelly Preston's & John Travolta's son, Jett, died yesterday at the age of 16. They had shown an interview on TV of about 8 years ago when John Travolta said his son almost died at age 2 of what was diagnosed as Kawasaki Syndrome.

Now they talked about his death after seizure ... age 16

I think it is the butyl in carpet cleaning that gets into the eyes of our children, pets, and us ... that would cause all of this.

All I read was a TEENY reference to carpet cleaning, and not specifically your butyl-crusade you've been pounding out for years. Can you please explain why you are so feverishly adamant about the butyl-whatever with every death and illness that is out there?

There would be enough medical info in Jett's records to suspect this chemical or not. What was his body temperature? Any abnormal blood sugar or blood pressure? Any blood in urine or high white blood cell counts?

There were 3 soldiers who died in 2005 after flu symptoms * and I think the family and their doctors should know to suspect this chemical. Exposure 'looks like' the flu.

For those who live 10 years or so longer, you will see seizures start up ... from the anemia: lack of oxygen.

And there would be other signs like personality change to extremely irritated ... to short term memory loss ... headaches

How tragic for the Travolta family. They seemed to have everything - I had no idea that they were dealing with a son with an infirmity of some sort. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Since I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, I've been keeping up on the coverage of the Travolta incident, particularly given the carpet cleaning rational they provided. Many doctors that have been interviewed say that it is highly unlikely that the boy had Kawasaki Syndrome. They stated that it appears that he had autism, but the Church of Scientology does not recognize and "mental" illnesses; some theorized that Kawasaki Syndrome was chosen as his malady because that is physical rather than mental in nature.

My DH and I were discussing the other day that the entire carpet cleaning scenario seemed rather unusual and unsubstantiated. If that were the case, wouldn't we see many folks with this syndrome?

Anyway, the autopsy may be able to hopefully shed some light on what the boy had.

I strongly suspect that the chemical of harm in carpet cleaning is BUTYL or 2-butoxyethanol. Those that think there is a connection don't name that chemical, but they should.

I feel so sad for these parents and SO many others that have autoimmune issues and cancers that this chemical causes ... and I do think Autism (because there is an autoimmune metabolic aspect to it & probably a nervous system poisoning, too) would be more likely caused from this chemical exposure than anything else.

I think that the autopsy won't find the real cause of death ... just as it didn't for Anna Nicole Smith.

I think that the Travoltas have lost their son twice. They lost the son they birthed at age 2. Although he lived at that time, he would not have been the same. They would have noticed headaches, and learning delays and the memory loss and fatigue that those with military 'syndromes' and civilians with CFIDS, CFS, FM notice. The Presidents' doctors don't find the anemia and the root cause of things when they show up for Pres FDR, for instance ... Hitler & Pope John Paul probably the same.

So, for the Travoltas, I hope they consider that seizures can be from the advance anemia their son must have been dealing with. His collapse may have been from lack of the right type and kind and number of red blood cells.

Last night on the 'Geraldo at Large' program they said that Jett was very tired and 'sleeping' 12-16 hours a day, that he had very serious and multiple grande mal seizures that medicine no longer helped, and that he was non verbal.

(Did he have normal language development before the age 2 illness? Normal development in general, then not so thereafter?)

I still suspect the advanced anemia that 2-butoxyethanol exposure would cause and that he would have 'the chills' or shivering, rapid heart beat and shortness of breath

He could have tumors anywhere, even brain tumors, but they won't be the cause of death. He could have extremely high white blood cell counts, but that would be an AIHA or IMHA anemia sign, in this context

Did he have a subnormal body temperature? ... subnormal blood pressure? subnormal blood sugar? chart
