From what I've learned about this product, it causes compensated autoimmune hemolytic anemia (that's the blood in urine) and with that strong an exposure, it is very unlikely that any of these young men would be alive today, 16 years after the fact. All I am saying is from what I heard: "He had very, very red, bloodshot eyes; he was behaving in a very 'disoriented way'

That if it was some type of exposure to glycol ether, he would also have enlarged spleen, blood in urine and test positive for something similar to anti-freeze in his blood. I don't suspect anyone would think of it, but I always think of it first if 'the pattern is there'

Well, of course, besides this, there would be multiple autoimmune issues show up at once, he would have had headaches, etc; more deaths should be attributable to FATIGUE in our Nation when glycol ether exposure is the chemical exposure causing flu symptoms; there is autoimmune hemolytic anemia hiding out, except in very acute situations, in which the immune system is prematurely destroying the red blood cells; for a recent exposure, such as could be the case here, the red blood cells would be ragged and beat up with 'bites out of them'
