Why is there a reduced sperm count in our men over the last 50 years?

Consider the glycol ethers!  *

Low libido - Sperm count declining

The sperm counts of adult males have been going down for decades. Medical science does not know why.

I suspect 2-butoxyethanol type chemical added to various jet fuels, which by the way are labeled as pesticides. This chemical is a pesticide.

I could give a good link that summarizes various news and magazine articles on this, mostly in 1996

What about sperm counts?

- but they do not like links on this website.

Pretty soon we won't have to worry about birth defects. There won't be any children ... and prior to that, men loose their interest in sex. Sad state of affairs.

Margaret,

David Busbee, Ph.D. University of Texas A and M School of Veterinary Medicine, genetic and toxicology specialist presented some brief findings a the Glycomics Conference in Houston, Texas, Octorber 8th.   He showed that plasticizers used in various clear plastic bottles are potent estrogen minics.  He reported that boys secondary sexual characteristics are being delayed and those of girls are coming on at a more early age.   The sperm counts of adult males have been going down for decades.

About 8 years ago Darryl See, M.D., then at the University of California Irving and I sent a brief statement to Immunology Letters showing that the NK cell levels for controls in various clinical studies had been going down for 20-30 years.  We did not know why, but trace chemicals in our food, water, air, touching of plastics could be a cause??   An NIH expert nearly boiled us in oil for making such a statement.  Seems he is the national NK cell expert and he had not seen or know this or anoint it.

Then he showed by gene array that polymannose added to cultures upregulates the expression of receptor sites and decreases the effect of the estrogen minics in cell cultures.  a DVD of the presentation is available or will be at Duplipak  888-443-1979    This is also the source for my DVD on adult stem cells that could contribute to the correction of such damage??

Glycol: any of a class of organic chemicals characterized by having separate two hydroxyl (-OH) groups, contribute to high water solubility, hygroscopicity and reactivity with many organic compounds, on usually linear and aliphatic carbon chain. The general formula is CnH2n(OH)2 or (CH2)n(OH)2.

2-butoxyethanol is Not Without Research  *

At the very least, the CDC should had to their flu site, that another cause of flu symptoms is too much exposure to 2-butoxyethanol ... BUTYL

Research indicates that it causes acute hemolytic anemia in rats

& a lot more

I shared some thoughts with a Cushing's group (any hormone can go high or low, and be part of the pattern of 2-butoxyethanol poisoning ... AKA Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether.) You probably use it in things you clean with ... it is in paint ... many product that mechanics and carpenters use... in gun cleaners ... even in jet fuel? AND you can get exposed second hand. Ever have flu-like symptoms or diarrhea & eyes burning & hurting? Probably a second hand exposure episode

Just wanted to share that for those of you who also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, there is usually a nervous system damage and other symptoms related to hormones being out of line.  Consider checking the hormone levels of all glands.

I've looked into a chemical that should be suspect for a lot of this ... & as time goes on can lead to things such IBS, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's.  If so, you would have an odd assortment of things going on, and 2-butoxyethanol exposure is not suspect for them, but should be

Housewives in their cleaning jobs; military 'gulf war syndrome' and others ... Painters ... all can get the fumes in their eyes, which appears to be the worst route of exposure (but also at the cuticle areas)

Crohn's may be part of what 2-butoxyethanol exposure would cause:

hemolytic anemia is often found  *

Also consider an often overlooked exposure:

Examples of 'second hand solvent exposure'

If someone comes around who is overexposed to EGBE,

they will be breathing it out in their breath,  *

Check these basics - Look for this pattern *

Cancer Harm may be Secondary to ANEMIA? *

Diabetes *  is often 'a side effect' of exposure to 2-butoxyethanol,

endocrine disruption?  Autoimmune hypothalamus?

This chemical won't do just one thing - If you only have one health issue, and/or your parent doesn't have 'the odd assortment of CFIDS symptoms,' don't suspect 2-butoxyethanol poisoning.

a question about the glycol ethers being in jet fuel: *   "Dear Diann,
You mentioned the jet fuel. Have you ever looked at the cancer clusters in children around the military bases at Ft. Huachuca in Arizona and Fallon, Nevada? They are are said to be related to Perhcolate (??sp) found in jet fuel."  Mr P
