What causes 'charlie horses?'

"A charlie horse is pain caused by cramped muscles. Experts have long disagreed about the causes of sore muscles. Because nerve cells are situated in the fascia, i.e. the sheath of connective tissue outside the muscles.... nerve cells and on the muscles blood vessels, and this pressure is experienced as pain. What Causes Muscle Cramps? The situations that are likely to cause 'charlie horse' have one thing in common: incomplete muscular coordination."

I think the groups of people who have too much exposure to glycol ether (the autoimmune causing chemical) are subject to having 'charlie' horses for no apparent reason - unrelated to what researchers have been commenting on.  Thus, I think it is something autoimmune going on.  And avoiding glycol ether any way and every way you can, would be a good plan.

It would be something autoimmune metabolic  * ... and could additionally be an imbalance in needed nutrients, vitamin D, potassium ...

The study I did on glycol ether:

Look for the pattern of 'CFIDS'

I had a renter who used Scrubbing Bubbles (too much 2-2-butoxyethanol) I warned her; but she didn't listen - now she has a tumor in her eye (route of exposure is through the eyes) and her metabolism must have changed, because she always used to be thin, and it looks like she's gained 50 lbs

There was a fireman who nearly died; removed gall bladder, took out lots of stuff. He has daily many charlie horses;  I suspect too much exposure to glycol ether.  Did you know that fire fighter's foam is 2-2-butoxyethanol at 10% strength?

My husband has infrequent charlie horses.  Very painful.  I notice when his cleaning projects bring him into contact with glycol ether.  So, he doesn't have as much as other people have; but I also have concern about stiffness in his lower back.  All could be exposure to glycol ether causing such.

I think differently since I learned to recognize glycol ether exposure,.
I have no medical background, but believe people should be involved and work with their doctors
