I saw the re-broadcast of Hamilton Jordan's Memorial Service on C-Span2 on May 27, 2008

This was the day after Memorial Day, 2008

He had three wonderful children who spoke also, ages 16 thru 24

President Carter spoke

Dr Ellen Frauenthal, his former physician spoke

(quarterback on the cancer-cure team) Dr. Frauenthal is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and, in 2004, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Hospital Foundation. She is a recipient of the American Women's Medical Association Award. Dr. Frauenthal is a co-founder of PrepareFirst

She said his first emergency surgery was in 2006

Sounded like he had mesothelioma lung cancer

One of his sons said he had 6 different cancer diagnosis:

lymphoma, followed by bouts with
melanoma and
prostate cancer

Hamilton Jordan was very intelligent, very humble

A man who gave of himself to others

A man who had good character & honorable convictions

A man who had a good sense of humor

A man who had hope

A man who loved his family and his Country & his God
