What is Causing Global Warming?

Seattle PI Post by MargaretDiann at 11/2/07 7:55

What if overuse of a particular chemical is causing global warming? Maybe fewer products will be produced as they currently are?

Maybe no more 2-butoxyethanol in the water to clean oil spills, such as use of Corexit which is still allowed by EPA. US Coast Guard needs to reconsider what they will allow, and follow the recommendation of the RCAC of Prince William Sound (What we learned from the Exxon Valdez Oil spill cleanup) Who knows how many tons were dropped into the waters in 1989

This chemical has no restrictions on how much put into the air ...since end of 2003 (per EPA changes) and when also added to the water, does that cause climate warming?

Ethylene glycol in products drops the freezing point to -20

Old name is ethylene glycol monobutyl ether. It is very health hazardous, and that hasn't even been recognized.

Senator Hillary Clinton is taking interest, and I thank her for it.

Until we know what happened to EVOS workers, we won't realize that the same chemical exposure caused 'gulf war syndrome' and that this is a chemical which needs to be banned. Worse exposure is vapors in your eyes.

A chemist from an oil company who recently retired shared that through his career, the company was pulling out of its compounds the BUTYL. I think this is the most hazardous component. This particular chemical should be suspect for causing autoimmune issues & cancers: CFIDS, CFS, FM, ME

Capt Richard, "I had a phone call from Senator Hillary Clinton. What we talked about was the Statutory time limits and all the people that have been exposed to the Chemicals, which I supplied to the beach workers, I told her that I am 100% disabled now and I really miss the sea. Otherwise she said that according to her everyone was already taken care of. So like a good Captain I filled her in with the problem's we are having and that Exxon needs to pay up; just how many appeals can one company have?" 10-31-07 Richard D. Nagel, Florida
