I don't know who to contact
I live beside a 44 acre park. My yard butts right to theirs. yesterday they sprayed the entire park, on a windy day, with SURGE by pbi Gorden Corp. Here is the ingredients. list:

Sulentrazone .067%
2,4-D, dimethylamine salt 18.79%
Mecoprop-p, dimethylamine salt 6.80%
Dicamba, dimethylamine 3.02%
Inset ingredients 10.02%

I have no idea where to begin my search with this. I have contacted the park, and the company who makes Surge, and both have said it is completely "safe"

here are my concerns:

1. 5.5 hrs after they sprayed a 44 acre park children were allowed to play on the soccer field. Doing push ups, laying and sitting in the grass. It's soccer, so they fall and roll, etc
Also, there was spray right up to my property line.

2. Since it was a windy day, over spray went all over my garden, which is about 15 ft away from the place they sprayed.

3. People were walking and walking pets while they were spraying the chemical! They had to have an over spray up upon them. It was a windy day!

I have my garden located in that part of my yard because the park hasn’t sprayed in 6+ years, and it is the only place that gets sun.

I have no idea where to find state/federal laws to spraying. I want stop them from spraying as close to my yard as possible. I take great strides to be as chemical free as possible.

Do I have any rights? How do I find these rights?

If you know any where for me to start, can you please forward me that information?

Thank you very much!
You have good questions

Many things said to be safe are NOT safe

I think there are glycol ethers mentioned here

Another thing you can do is look for the product

then MSDS (stands for Material Safety Data Sheet)

I asked www.google.com 'feeling lucky search' ..... when did Aristotle Onassis have the flu?

and my own web page came up:  http://www.valdezlink.com/pages/onassisflu.htm
