Some thoughts on overcoming constipation
 
1) prunes, Sunquist prune juice, dried apricots. Not many are needed and they taste pretty good if the person needing them can tolerate them.
2) Senecote (sp?) and it comes in flavors. Sprinkle on food or make a drink.
 
3) dates or raisins served in cereal, such as steel cut oats or regular oatmeal.
4) drink of pretty warm water in the morning if possible.
Actual motion of the body if able to do that really aids a lot, but not always possible, I know.

I checked into this recently as someone in my family is borderline 'locked bowel' or 'the grip' as it used to be called

I think it is an effect of exposure to ethylene glycol monobutyl ether that would cause this, so we are not talking about any normal type constipation, we are talking about an autoimmune issue.

Keep putting food in, with no solid 'elimination' and a body can become toxic and death a soon reality.
 
The reason I discouraged taking Miralax is because it is Ethylene Glycol to the #3350 concentration.  BAD STUFF.  Diarrhea alright, because of exposure to this chemical.
