No Disclosure of any ingredients; yet serious use of product on a written MSDS you can get in 10 days by mail ... which however, are not on the container.

Ten days ago I called the new company who owns this product, and asked for an MSDS they said they would mail me one within 7-10 days... today ... I received it. NO disclosure of any ingredients .... just that there were no ingredients over 1% in the product that were known to be cancer causing. There were serious warnings for use, however, that were not on the product bottle. I can tell you that BUTYL must be one of the chemical components, at a strong strength ... is most likely there ... AND the day I used the product with my bare hands wiping down the bathtub, the little finger got a joint kink in it that persists to this day. It's probably arthritis starting up.

Be careful what you clean with - Exposure to BUTYL can cause serious harm to babies, pets, you!

When you see these warnings on your household cleaning products,

maybe the contents are not as benign as you think

Says an expert in business use of chemicals:  *

"We do indeed use some really toxic stuff in the house & no MSDS unless you have at least 2 employees. 

You can kill yourself, but not an employee."

so am I correct in assuming you do NOT want to disclose the chemicals in your carpet cleaner?

Why shouldn't everyone know what is in the products they clean with? ... or use in any way? for any purpose?

We used this on a rental carpet on March 9 and noticed some adverse affects: stiff bones, diarrhea

As I said,
you have all of this information already

I spoke with Rabby by phone request & he said one would be mailed to me

I would prefer an e-mail version (& in addition fax is OK, but I would still want either a mailed one or an e-mailed one)

MSDS by e-mail 3-27-09   2% is 2-butoxyethanol per June, 2008 version; no gloves; no goggles; no special ventilation needed

Try finding how much of this poison is in your home cleaning products!

The law doesn't require companies to disclose to housewives, and you can really get the run around

if you ask Bissell for what's in their carpet cleaner ... or what's in Clean Shower  *

There are some laws that need to be changed

 

Part of the use of premises for all rentals ... so as not to poison them, me ... or the next renter:
#20. Be Careful what you clean with  * * * Do not spray hazardous products inside, such as silicone spray or any other spray products (propellants can be health hazardous). In particular, do not use products that have an EPA registration number (Fantastik, Lysol Tub'n Tile) as it usually means there is a pesticide component such as BUTYL which causes autoimmune issues and cancers. Vapors in eyes is an exposure 

Exposure 'looks like the flu' ... or just sinus congestion ... or diarrhea ...  *

 

We need new laws for disclosure of butyl in any products 

most especially ones used in the Home
