What I would change about me?

I would like to know when I'm around the 2-butoxyethanol chemical WITHOUT having  my nose run, or worse:  EXPLOSIVE diarrhea within 5 minutes.

I guess I'm in good company, as President Eisenhower had it.

Eisenhower's episodes of gastrointestinal problems which seemed to come about without any apparent cause, resulting in sever stomach cramps, that plagued him throughout most of his adult life
And look what they called diarrhea:
  • an immediate explosive evacuation of the intestines
  • What did President Eisenhower's doctors call ' the runs?'
         (what we call diarrhea)
  • What else did he have?  Crohn's

Heart issues (this chemical also can cause heart damage/ lipid changes)

But in his case, neither he nor his doctors recognized what it was:  the same chemical he had had too much of in war times:  bomb fume type chemicals getting in one's eyes.

So if we are not talking direct exposure, we are talking second hand solvent exposure.  Our bodies complain about any more of this chemical, because we have had our fill ... and we cannot take any more.

This just happened to me Saturday 9-2-06.  I allowed someone to look at their friend's prospective rental.  When I go back to pick up the key ... guess what ... diarrhea ... diarrhea  ... diarrhea in less than 5 minutes.  Now how long will it be before I can finish getting the place ready?

Shares a mom with an 8 month old NALD son,

"He is constantly gagging or coughing or vomiting"

Be very sure he is not being exposed to some chemical.

In particular ... the chemical which I suspect would cause ALD in the family line or many of a number of other things with an autoimmune metabolic aspect to it.  My granddaughter at 6 months old was visiting the other grandparents at Christmas and started vomiting and diarrhea.  Soon everyone else ... feeling 'sick'  At first I thought like others ... oh, baby got the flu.  Then I realized ... 'second hand solvent exposure to the CFIDS causing chemical'  Who came into the house the week before Christmas?

What about our Presidents' Health?   *

I would like to 'pass on' what I've learned

Oh, yes ... this civilian helper in Iraq turns yellow ... and nearly dies of AIHA

I would like to see a 'breathalyzer test' for this chemical

Hello, I'm curious if 2-butoxyethanol contains alcohol. I'm wearing a SCRAM unit to monitor the intake of alcohol because of a dui. If I get a + reading I would have to go back to jail. I'm not proud of what I did and expect no apathy.
But if you have any information I would be grateful.  Russ  9-2-06
Thank you for inquiring

2-butoxyethanol is a complex alcohol.
I hope some day there will be a breathalyzer test for it, as it is expelled, partly, in one's breath & causes 2nd hand solvent exposure to others if they get too much of the vapors in their eyes

What kind of work do you do?
Do you have any of the CFS, FM or CFIDS symptoms?
Is this the Alzheimer's' causing chemical?

Gulf war vet Grant AsmusI was a Corpsman HM3 in the Navy, with Lima Company 3/3 1st MEB a Marine Corps infantry company. We moved around a lot, but we were mostly in the deep desert 90 miles west of the ocean 60 miles south of the Kuwaiti border. I was there from august 90' to March 91'.

I saw the black cloud from bombing and from burning oil for the month of February 91', it moved over us all month. If we were bombing Iraqi sites for a month and those sites had CB agents in them such as artillery sites then the CB agents were drifting over us. No one seems to speak of this. During the weeks just prior to the ground war Lima Co. was shelled by something called a frog missile. It impacted less than a mile from us. 3/3 secured the Kuwaiti International Airport. I spoke to an officer who had gone through the Iraqi artillery sites and he told me that every 12th round was CB. My Medical Officer told all of us that the anti-nerve agent pill was not new and had been tested for years.

My wife and I are separated now she could not cope with living with a person with so much memory loss. It was like living with an Alzheimer's victim, which is how it feels like for me many days. In 1993 I started having memory problems, fatigue, weird rashes, etc... I get 20% disability from the VA. My opinion is that when we bombed the enemy sites which contained CB agents the wind blew it on us for as long as the bombing took place. Thank You.  Dec 28, 1999

look like it you are getting the 'flu?'  One reason 'why fatigue' ... may be hiding out

Diarrhea?  Runny nose, watering eyes, cough?

In WWII at Guadalcanal they said not a one had a solid bowel movement after getting there.  Was it dysentery?  Was it malaria?  Or was it fumes in eyes of 2-butoxyethanol type chemicals?  Don't know where Senator Bob Dole served during WWII.  But probably the only reason Bob Dole is alive today after serving in WWII ... was that he was injured & removed from the battlefield early on.
