Wonder what fishermen wash their boats with? Some say Lysol tub 'n Tile, or Simple Green or Joy ... bet you'd find some n-butyl ethers in some of these I was visiting with the fisherman next door (27' boat) and he was about 6 feet away. We were talking outside, and would you believe, I had some bad diarrhea within 5 minutes? I'm going to ask what he's been doing lately, and what he uses to wash his boat down with. If it is Lysol Tub 'n Tile or 409 cleaner ... then I got some 2nd hand exposure to it. Now, his wife is recovering from breast cancer, and I suspect some of the tumors that are breast cancer could be from this chemical, too, but the research I saw, didn't want to comment ... just said "other maternal effects" He did tell me that Cordova does not want Corexit stockpiled there for future use in oil spills ... but what can they do? You know, Corexit was invented by Exxon in July, 1989 & later sold to Dept of Defense. I bet it was part of the cause of 'gulf war syndrome' At 130 degree temp & sitting around in the Arms Room, all a soldier would have to do is walk in there & get the fumes in his eyes |
