You are welcome to join this forum. In last year... I have
posted on my 'chemical topic' - mostly under HEALTH - M. Diann

Yesterday I saw a post passed on
to Co-Cure forum by a 27 year old young man who has
severe ME (That's what they call it in Ireland ...
same as CFS) Harmed
by who knows what at the age of 16 His story talks
about a 'flu' after an outing with a high school
class. Climbing all over hill and dale & in the
water, I didn't even understand all he said he did.
But at Sollum Voe, Scotland they use these
2-butoxyethanol type chemicals in oil spill cleanups.
That can go all over everywhere. Maybe he ran into on
one of the beaches?
He said he would keep my info handy. . . for himself
and others.
At first I gave him this info, and he wasn't much
interested

I
noticed this article: "Neuropathology in
rhinosinusitis" & that you work in
immunology
This
Fatigue is the common denominator
Brain Tumors?
What
about headaches?
Are
we dealing with autoimmune issues?
A
study on immune helps coming up?
Do you have an immunologist who would like to
work with Dr Reg McDaniel on the use of
glyconutrients for autoimmune disorders?
I would think that there should be a control
group without autoimmune hemolytic anemia; and
one with autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The
latter would be the key to this chemical's
harm which should be present regardless of the
other autoimmune disorders that add on to it.
The groups of people harmed by this are the
Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers; and
many of the 'gulf war syndrome' vets and CFS
and CFIDS groups. I do not believe you can
compare these groups against each other,
because from the study of this chemical, I
suspect it of causing all of these.
Why
I took a look at 2-butoxyethanol
Ok, Tom, you
just reposted a researchers comments on
autoimmune something or other ...
OK, I think someone reposted your comments.
I do suspect the chemical I studied to be a
primary cause of CFS, CFIDS or 'gulf war
syndrome' Did you serve in the military?
I would encourage you to look at the links
hang in there
PS
Usually people have a definite time they
remember 'flu-like symptoms' and start of
fatigue Check into this. It may be an exposure
to
2-butoxyethanol |
AIDS is not the same as autoimmune disfunction so the
anacronism is usually not used for that reason ... the
confusion of the two I don't see the comment on that
right now, but http://home.gci.net/~blessing
/pages/autoimmune.htm has some basic info
after
a bout of flu?
What were you doing the very day this 'flu' started?
Tom, "I was feeling ill for a day or two but
stupidly went on a school adventure trip (various
reasons why I did this). Anyway it was to the West of
Ireland in February in the countryside where he was
cold and rained a lot and we did canoeing (incl.
falling into a freezing lake), walking up mountains,
absailing ( i.e. jumpting of a cliff and going down)
and orienteering. I don't think chemicals were
involved in my case."
My reply:
He said he would keep the info handy for himself &
others (Way to go!)
PS -
& you should have some gulf war vets that need the
same info
Can you pass on to these or any doctors interested? |
