I wouldn't do Stamping While Pregnant

I've heard of this & went to a craft store to see what was in the ink (or ink cleaning unit)

I was trying to figure out whether there was something like 2-butoxyethanol in it (these guys still say non toxic, such as in Simple Green when it is 6% 2-butoxyethanol - go figure)

Anyway, we have a young woman in our town who has excruciating headaches and since she uses meloluca cleaning products, we thought maybe she could be getting exposure to it in some of the hobby craft items she uses.

Another lady said she came down with an autoimmune thyroid problem with other effects such as short term memory loss, difficulty concentrating, depression. She is also into stamping & I haven't yet explored everything as to sources of exposure to 2-butoxyethanol, but I'm wondering about stamping. The ink vapors from a group use could get into the air ... & then into the eyes.

So, from my point of view, I wouldn't do stamping when pregnant, as this chemical is a teratogen & we want a healthy baby!

What 2-butoxyethanol causes

I looked into the harm of 2-butoxyethanol because someone in my family was harmed by it

Stamping ink has 6% of Diethylene Glycol

CAS Number 111-46-6 (What health effects?)

and 25% of USP Propylene Glycol (Non Toxic?)

CAS Number 57-55-6

Can cause autoimmune issues and horrible headaches?
