Interesting how the whole Legislature can mobilize when they want to: banning the Exxon Valdez from US waters? Not letting someone's feeding tube be pulled? But when it comes to protecting hundreds and thousands of able bodied people ... hmm... the chemicals are getting away with murder, be it though 'slow cooker' variety. We need new laws that make it more costly for industry to dispense with human life as they use their chemicals wily nily for corporate profits. And our poor US soldiers today, and the Coast Guard and Navy of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup. My heart goes out to you for the unbearable excessive exposure to 2-butoxyethanol and sometime ethylene oxide, too. I tried to put a classified ad in the WA Post & they wouldn't print it. I was only looking for the EVOS workers. http://www.valdezlink.com/home.htm Even the 'scientific medical studies' on many illnesses are skewed because they don't credit the cause: 2-butoxyethanol poisoning & instead say, "Hmm, why so much diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity (metabolic changes) lung cancer, stomach cancer, skin problems, acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia, kidney, liver and arthritis problems. Be careful if you clean a military weapon or wash down navy ship decks or just regularly wash your bathtub with Lysol Tub 'n Tile. I'd be sure to skip 409 cleaner for sure & if I do use them, never without goggles and gloves. *
