Morning Headaches - Oh, They're the Worst! Have been having them the last 2 days
Headaches are one of the signs of the
chemical exposure I've been talking about. They come and go, per
people with known exposure to 2-butoxyethanol. So, this is my summary
of what they're like per the EVOS workers and the 'gulf war syndrome'
vets that I've heard share. Are
they sort of like this?
Could you be getting exposure 2nd hand from your husband. He would be breathing all night into the bedroom, of course ... SO ... maybe if he is getting some exposure in the work he does ... you could be getting exposed, too, second hand. OR what are YOU doing now? Could you fill out this questionnaire & bring it to your doctor ... along with this info for him/her? They will need to check some extra things to find the pattern of EGBE harm. Do you have FATIGUE, too? Ask if there is blood in urine & whether the red blood cells are small sized. Have you had any 'flu-like symptoms?' ... especially diarrhea |

an extreme exposure might look like this:
| "Yes, I remember all too well when my eyes started burning like there was hot pokers in them. It coincided with a VERY nasty stomach bug ... vomiting, the runs ... it was miserable. The day I got sick I had been rolling around in a very nasty store cleaning up the mess. (Box account in Sugar Land, TX) That night I was so sick ... took me two days to get the energy up to drag myself to the doctor's office and threw up all over it ... for him to tell me I had the flu." |

There are 2 chemicals
that are similar ... listed among the solvents and pesticides the gulf
war troops were exposed to: EGBE
or 2-butoxyethanol and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether
I suspect this as the most probable cause of 'gulf war syndrome'
To find the fatigue: autoimmune hemolytic anemia would be what it causes Do this questionnaire and give to your doctor |
