U.S. first lady Laura Bush wears an AIDS Awareness lapel pin while listening to President George W. Bush at a meeting on World AIDS Day in the Roosevelt Room at the White House in Washington in this file photo taken December 1, 2006. Mrs. Bush was treated for the second most common type of skin cancer on her leg last month, her spokeswoman said on December 18, 2006. Picture taken December 1, 2006. Laura Bush - skin cancer

"The cancer was identified as a squamous cell carcinoma,
a malignant tumor that is the second most common form of skin cancer."

It's most likely NOT from too much sun exposure.
AARP Quote:

Upon turning 60, Laura Bush commented that she like to use bleach & 409 Cleaner to clean with ....

(Nov, 2006 she had a squamous skin cancer tumor removed from her knee) She is also a 'baby boomer' That could mean someone in the military in her family line. No epidemiology studies for the WW II Vets

Be careful what you clean with! Laura Bush should not be using 409 Cleaner ... she could get 'the syndrome' too ... Civilians call it CFIDS

put in your search browser: 409 Cleaner MSDS

MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheet
and if you find one written before 2003, you should see a version of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether with ethylene oxide

If you find one of my links,
let me know   409 Cleaner MSDS

Most of the time there is nothing too concerning about the way ingredients are mentioned or the warnings, either. Simple Green has the same chemical as that of the bioremediation workers of EVOS at half strength. I had a Col in USAF contact me a few months back and say that all he did was clean his bathtub for 15 minutes with Simple Green and he was having trouble breathing.

Why I think the USA can't find the real cause of 'gulf war syndrome' or CFIDS as I would call it for civilians

People don't take the warnings on home cleaning products seriously. What Should the Hazard warnings be on products? Why not say instead that they will have damaged: blood, liver, kidneys, skin, eyes, central nervous system including depression and short term memory loss, and suicidal tendencies; endocrine system (high blood pressure/high blood sugar/reproductive damage) and tell them, too, it doesn't take much exposure to cause this! The more exposure the sooner you die; and the more horrible the death. Cancers very probable. Children at risk for birth defects and leukemia and tumor of the brain. Multiple existing health studies 'skewed' because the primary cause is not mentioned or known:
           2-butoxyethanol poisoning

Ever heard of Lorenzo? Came down with ALD after his family moved to USA from Africa. Got sick and has been languishing all these years. Probably some chemical like this has harmed his mom's mom or dad ... and then whatever exposures he had directly to the cleaning products the maid might have used (My thoughts)

His mom blames herself for what happened to Lorenzo;  her husband blames himself for her lung cancer that took her life (as though second hand smoke was the problem)  Things are all mixed up
