Real Hope for Lupus with a New Discovery

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease, characterized by tissue and cell damage caused by autoantibodies. It was so named more than 100 years ago by a French physician because the characteristic facial rash reminded him of a wolf ("lupus" is Latin for "wolf"). Erythematosus refers to the reddening of the skin.

The cause is as yet unknown, and there is no cure. Treatment is limited to symptomatic control, and toxic side-effects to medication is quite common.

Every autoimmune condition, including Lupus, has one thing in common - the Immune System cannot properly recognize cells of the body, and mistakenly attacks them. This communication can only be carried out in the presence of Glyconutrients... glyconutrients form the language by which cells communicate. In Lupus patients, something has gone wrong with the normal process of glyconutrient manufacture or use.

In 1996, the Sullivan study, published in Arthritis and Rheumatism, concluded that a low level of mannose-binding proteins may make a person susceptible to lupus. This conclusion stresses the vital role that mannose, one of the 8 necessary glyconutrients contained in the product available in the link on the right-hand side of the page, plays in staying healthy.

Today, the modern diet is totally deficient in mannose, which is probably why studies such as "The Effects of Dietary Supplements on Lupus: A Retrospective Survey, Proceedings of the Fisher Institute for Medical Research, Vol. 1 No. 1, conclude that 100 percent of patients who added glyconutrients to their diet reported significant improvement in lupus symptoms.

100%.

Ask your doctor about glyconutrients for help

The thought on using glyconutrients, in my opinion, is that it helps the immune system to work properly instead of being autoimmune - 'friendly firing' (The companies who sell them make no claims nor do they have any thoughts along these lines)

... and then the body can stop tumor formation ... & recruit its own stem cells.   Glyconutrient trials are coming from research done by Roger J. Williams
