Grande mal seizures -

for military and others?

There was a comment 2-15-04 on a gulf war vets discussion forum from a gulf war vet who had had a grande mal seizure, asking for input.

A Green Beret just returning from Afghanistan has the assorted 'gulf war syndrome symptoms' and also said he had a grande mal seizure & it almost took his life.

This is something to do with the Central Nervous System?

"In young people seizures can be from metabolic disorders, such as abnormal blood levels of sugar (glucose), calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6, or sodium. Seizures starting after age 25 may be caused by structural damage to the brain such as from a head injury, stroke, or tumor. When no cause can be identified, seizures are called idiopathic.

People with a seizure disorder are more likely to have a seizure when they are under excess physical or emotional stress or deprived of sleep. Strong stimuli that irritate the brain--such as injury, certain drugs, sleep deprivation, infections, fever, low levels of oxygen in the blood, or very low levels of sugar in the blood--can trigger a seizure whether a person has a seizure disorder or not. These seizures are known as "provoked seizures." Avoiding such stimuli can help prevent seizures."

Some interesting points.

When you have a lot of ailments, docs prescribe a lot of medication. This Green Beret said he was on way more medication that he was used to taking. I am sharing this info (and more) hoping he will get an accurate diagnosis & stop this carnage among our troops today. He also talked about the bones hurting in the back and neck. Can this type of fatigue lead to paralysis? Symptoms - technical terms - Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia info
Checking Retic ratio may give an indication that hemolytic anemia is on the 'horizon'

The current military man had a lot of exposure to the solvents in gun cleaning compounds, but try as I might, I cannot find out what these solvents are.

Maybe in the interest of National Security - Product Developers will give up their proprietary ingredients, which most likely weren't supposed to be proprietary in the first place  such as CLP

The chemical I suspect to be the neurotoxin that causes 'gulf war syndrome' also causes hemolytic anemia - very seldom diagnosed, but with this chemical's overexposure, ALWAYS there.

& Look for the Patterns

Brain Tumors    -   Brain Tumors  -  as for Thelma    & other Tumors, too

Is the harm of 2-butoxyethanol going unrecognized?

An Indiana 'gulf war syndrome' vet shared with me that he would have seizures and as soon as the paramedics gave him oxygen, they would stop

He also shared that he didn't tell emergency room people he was a gulf war vet because he was treated less well

His name is Chad & I share more - 'mimics' psychiatric disorder

Which of these health ailments do you have? X  About Health   AND

There could be other cause for grand mal seizure

besides a brain tumor

Sometimes it is caused from lack of oxygen

There is a fatigue doctors don't find (per definition) in CFS, CFIDS, FM, ME

which would cuase this kind of 'lack of oxygen'

CFIDS Pattern

See if this assortment of symptoms is there, too.  If not for Erin, for a parent or grandparent.

Check for the horrible headache; this fatigue, memory loss, etc

I am a 'want to know why person'  and I find that when people are focused only on brain tumors (or only on thyroid) (or only on diabetes) ... all side effects ... they miss the fatigue, too.

The Center for Disease Control didn't even start keeping track on the numbers of brain tumors until 1977.  I think children of parents who fought in a war (Now in compounding generations) are going to be the reason for their going 'off the chart' statistically speaking.  Add to that the chemical I suspsect for all of these is in aboundance today and people are continuing to be exposed on top of the teratogen effects, people add their own direct exposures.

Rare?

Probably not as rare as you may think

Ask Erin if she recalls any flu like symptoms,

Listen to your body ... sniffles?  Diarrhea?  Farting?  examples of low grade exposure to EGBE, but exposure all the same.  TO FLU

Rudy Giuliani 'flu'

In case this flu is the chemical exposure,

this is info I would like to share with his doctors

Have people who have brain tumors check out the multiple exposure possibilities of 2-butoxyethanol aka Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether?  Has anyone even looked in that direction?
