Industrial Sign Making - Health Hazardous? |
||||
| I was injured from solvent
exposure at my job from 1999-2002. I have spent over a year trying to save enough $ to be seen by a specialist, I do have an attorney his name is Paul Selin. I have been getting worked over financially and emotionally by local doctors, none of whom seem to know anything about exposure to chemicals & solvents. A treatment plan was laid out for my Neurologist at the time (SAM YOUNG) in 2003. But he left his practice 2 months later. By that time I was discharged from my job for calling OSHA in for an Inspection , Had NO Health Insurance, I was paying out of my pocket for everything, & could not afford the test no matter how hard I tried~ hell I could barely afford to eat & keep a roof over my head, much less afford my scripts every month. I've been to Chicago, but didn't have enough funds to keep going up there for test & treatment. Everyday it seems harder & harder to get up and get going,. my bones and muscles feel like they are deteriorating rapidly & the fatigue I can't even describe. Please take time to read my story and look over some of the attached documents from the U.I.U.C. Occ. Med. department.

These are some of the central nervous symptoms signs of effects of 2-butoxyethanol (but maybe some other chemicals too) ... in the case of this exposure I suspect FATIGUE also But someone might want to check THE FATIGUE signs of what ails you (if it is exposure to 2-butoxyethanol)
I got this list from the medical dictionary - as 2-butoxyethanol is supposed to cause hemolytic anemia. |

I'm putting your story down here & for right
now, just sharing with Dr. Rea & his staff (& YOU, of course)
Dr. Rea is in Dallas, TX and does understand chemical poisoning of
many of these chemicals you mention
The good news is ... that on many chemicals a
person is affected by, there are tests to determine whether or not
they are still in your system ... and ways to remove them.
Not true for the only chemical I know about:
2-butoxyethanol ... as it is like a tornado chemical. It comes
& goes ... and leaves behind a lot of damage - most particularly
(best I can tell) an autoimmune immune system. I checked with Accu-Chem
laboratories and they do not have a test for it in people.
But as I've shared already, it does have a pattern of fatigue &
CNS damage - and I
suspect it won't be long before MDs start looking for it's pattern of
harm. It does appear
hopeful that glyconutrients will help aright an autoimmune immune
system & then the body can heal itself.
Are you taking any medications that don't help
you? the less medications the better for anyone who has been
chemically poisoned. Actually that could be the cause of your
'tremors' Don't know, but it is one of the ways
your body 'complains' about too much of a chemical exposure
(which could include medications)

| I just
looked at the MSDS
that you sent ... the lacquer - paint thinner is SO scary ... Lacryl 208
thinner MSDS shows 50-75% is ethylene glycol monobutyl ether CAS No
111-75-2 pdf
One product developer was screaming one day that the 5% concentration of
it in Glass Plus was unsafe for home use!
C6H14O2/CH3(CH2)2CH2OCH2CH2OH |
|
| Oh, my goodness ... and
this Lacryl 218
Retarder is much worse ... the double compounded version at
75-100% concentration
C8H18O3 / CH2(CH2)3OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OHDGME |

Note the chemical formula of these 2 here & more info For the MSDS to say it is only #1 hazard category - a slight risk - is mind-boggling to me Audrey's husband only misted Simple Green - 45 min at work - 6% EGBE MSDS show these Poly207 pdf and Lettering-V3 pdf as Hazard level 2 or 2+ .... but I don't know if they are more hazardous that these |

Some things EGBE can do per OTHER MSDS info (if it is exposure to 2-butoxyethanol) Some Bad Products . . . Gulf war vets with suspected exposure - Discussion on Seizures Dr Reg shares that glyconutrient food supplements have helped those harmed by solvents He does not speak for anyone but himself & his own company -
