Things I've been talking about here

Interesting topic,

I do believe some chemicals can cause many problems. I remember when my doctors first told me I had fibromyalgia, I searched and searched for reasons why, well doctors don't really know what cause this, but some articles I read said it could be from aspartame, chemicals, the list goes on and on.

One thing I found it after more testing was done, they discovered I didn't really have fibro, I had lupus and a pituitary tumor, as to what caused them, I'm not sure, I'm sure doctors don't know why yet, yes it could be environmental, it could be chemicals I've been exposed to, but all I can do now is to treat my illnesses I've been diagnosed with.

One thing for me I found interesting, I was a healthy women until after we moved right across the street from a factory that was constantly blowing out many fumes, it was a plastic factory and it really left a terrible smell in the air. One day while reading an article in our local newspaper at the time, I found there to be a cell of cancers, especially brain cancers in people who lived in this area.

Another interesting note, we had the deed to our home at the time, and every person who lived there passed away of cancer, after doing research I found this out. The last couple to live there both died of lung cancer.

The weird part, I started to feel ill after an auto wreck that is why they suspected fibromyalgia in myself, but looking back I really feel it could have been the factory that played a role in some of my health issues. My dog had suspected cushies, as did I, of course for now, I'm only diagnosed with lupus and a pit tumor and a blood disorder as well as thyroid issues. I no longer consider myself to have fibro because I feel not enough is known about this condition, yes I believe its an illness but more research needs to be done. I want to know the cause?

I did order a book off the PNA website called "our stolen future", it is very interesting, but in spite of reading it, I still believe until more research is done a doctor nor anyone for sure can say my tumor is because of chemicals or the environment.

This is a good debate

~~~~~~Dare To Dream~~~~~~
Choose a wish, find a dream,
Pick a wishing star;
Let your hopes and spirits soar
High Free and far.
Reach for the unreachable,
Stretch to touch the sky,
Know no dream you treasure
Is too far away or high.
Believe in the impossible,
Then work and try and do-
For only those who dare to dream
Can make a dream come true!
First thing I learned about 2-butoxyethanol ... is that it is used in the plastic industry manufacturing and dry cleaning businesses.
What blood disorder? That is the provable harm of 2-butoxyethanol. Ask the doctors to test you for autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The list of what you share, are the kinds of things that this chemical would cause. I do suspect that in your case, you would find it.
In my case, as I said I've found a bigger & bigger picture of what this chemical should be suspect for ... I believe the diabetes that showed up in my 50's was a birth defect from my dad's being chemically poisoned during WWII war-time on a Navy ship. (If I had his medical records, I suspect it would show the pattern of 2-butoxyethanol harm). Myself, I do not have the fatigue, but I have one of the ailments (a couple ... belly fat with recent high bad cholesterol). Called 'syndrome X'
Lots of things could be 'late to show up birth defects'
I am confident that someone of influence will pick up on what I've found. Maybe some day Congress will ban 2-butoxyethanol, but at present, the big chemical companies have lobbied EPA (2003) to have no limits on how much 2-butoxyethanol can be put into the air
