... have a good Easter!  4-14-06 Good Friday web page

in 1989 the Exxon Valdez oil spill was on Good Friday (3-24-89)

25 years earlier also on Good Friday (3-27-64) was the Alaska Earth Quake

People in Valdez want to ignore the oil spill legacy they have

What about the Seabees of gulf war?

2/3 of 17,000 interviewed had 'the gulf war syndrome' symptoms
How does this compare to the Navy & Coast Guard helpers of the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989?

What Navy Ships?  ... served near Valdez, 1989?  * etc

Navy personnel of #39 and the Deluth, and whatever other Navy ships were stationed in Valdez area in July, 1989 - Who housed the crews and handled "Corexit" and shuttled the beach crews to and from the beaches.

And the US Coast Guard who monitored the 'bioremediation' experiment & the DEC was there, too?

Coast Guard beach monitors were not "traveling lookers" They were on the beach before the workers arrived, and left only after the last one was gone in the evening.  Most were there more hours than the workers themselves.  VECO friends would help some by bringing boxed lunches because the CG didn't bother with lunches for the monitors. Says one, "Yes, rapid heart beat ... many things, but the worst was ZERO sperm"

A Navy man on the USS Cleveland shares, "I am having concerns with my liver.  I live a good life, so why is my liver having problems?  I know half a dozen others from the work we did in 1989.  But I never tell them that I feel like crap"

Could the USA find the Navy & Coast Guard stationed in Valdez in 1989?

Simply Put - What does 2-butoxyethanol do?

Questions I have ...
  • "Was Corext part of supplies to the 'gulf war troops?"
  • "Did our vets have to move barrels of Corexit here 'n there?" &

Corext was sold to the Dept of Defense about then.

Is there a connection?
