Does EPA think EGBE is no big deal?

I wanted to know ... so I asked them,

Someone from Australia e-mailed me that EPA had 'delisted' 2-butoxyethanol, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, etc EGBE family of chemicals

Is that true?

That you used to have restrictions on how much 2-butoxyethanol released into the air, but not now?

Did that happen a year ago when the chemical companies lobbied for such, saying it doesn't bioaccumulate & therefore, not harmful?

If so, would that mean you used to require the pesticide EPA registration on the back of Lysol tub 'n Tile for instance, but not now?

I would appreciate knowing the correct status?
Is this correct information? EPA has delisted_2-Butoxyethanol as a chemical of Concern?

Personally, I think Stan Stephens of Valdez should be more concerned about EGBE than benzene. Prostate cancer such as testicular seminoma is more probably a result of EGBE exposure than benzene ... and then the brain tumors, the diabetes ... effects it's been causing since before WWII

Screaming about DDT?
  Why not EGBE?

This is sad news

I suspect that this chemical is the cause of Pres FDR's death ... the cause of 'gulf war syndrome' and the real harm to the Vietnam vet ... more than dioxin (which is not a match for the list of ailments they came down with) http://home.gci.net/~blessing/pages/vietnam.htm

The civilian population would call it CFS or more correctly, Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, even FM if you group different sub groups together. www.valdezlink.com/cfid_share.htm

Soldiers are still dying from it today,
http://home.gci.net/~blessing/pages/soldiersdie.htm

Doctors don't know what the FATIGUE is in this. They would find it if they tested for autoimmune hemolytic anemia & looked for immature red blood cells and the 'retic' rate and for blood in urine http://www.valdezlink.com/pages/thebasics.htm

Some extra things in the blood http://www.valdezlink.com/check_blood.htm#retic

This is the diabetes causing chemical, the 'autoimmune' causing chemical and most of the 'syndromes' that are out there.

Many, many birth defects and cancers.

Who needs to worry about a foreign invader when we poison our own?

You think I'm overstating? No this is an understatement for the harm of this chemical

I'd like to know whether Hillary & her staff ran into this chemical this year? http://home.gci.net/~blessing/pages/hillary.htm

and Senator Specter ... and Chief Justice Wm Rehnquist and former Attorney General John Ashcroft ... and President George Bush's little sister who died of leukemia before she was 3 years old

Well, I'm thinking.
My theory is provable

Greetings,

I would suggest submitting your questions to EPA directly at http://publicaccess.custhelp .com/cgi-bin/publicaccess.cfg /php/enduser/entry.php.
Click on the "Submit a Question or Comment" tab then enter your email address and question(s). EPA responds fairly quickly and most requests will be responded to within 10 business days. They should be able to give you a better answer to your questions as they are directed to EPA specifically.

Sincerely,
