It is now suspected that Pres FDR did not have Polio

At the end of his life, he did have these CFIDS symptoms *  *  *

Pres FDR as Assist Sect of the Navy in 1917 got as close to the front lines of WWI action as he could. On the return voyage he came down with a strange influenza. I would like to know more about this 'flu' (Exposure to 2-butoxyethanol looks like the flu) Lesser exposure looks like sniffles with farting to diarrhea

I've been giving a lot of thought to
Pres FDR. who has the entire pattern of this chemical's harm. I think it is the cause of bird flu of 1918. *  Those male tanks had canon on them; it was an experiment; people were so black and blue from lack of oxygen that you couldn't tell what race they were. (I think it was a stronger version of this chemical that instead of prematurely destroying your red blood cells; killed them off all at once.)

Pres Eisenhower was teaching soldiers in those days.

I suspect the autoimmune issues (Crohn's for Eisenhower) and autoimmune issue of nervous system for FDR that started up in about 1922 were from this type of exposure. Pres FDR did not have polio, they now believe. He had an autoimmune issue of the nervous system that caused paralysis.

The common denominator for this chemical exposure is
what we today call CFIDS. Look for it among soldiers of every era: ESPECIALLY the Vietnam Vet era  *

It is now suspected that Pres FDR didn't have polio,

but an autoimmune issue that caused paralysis

But others "were consistent with paralytic poliomyelitis that effects motor neurons but were typical of Guillian-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disease that damages sensory and motor nerves," Goldman said in a statement. For instance, FDR was 39 when the disease struck -- polio usually affects younger people -- his paralysis affected both sides of the body evenly, he had partial facial paralysis early on, numbness, extreme prolonged pain and bladder and bowel dysfunction.
Guillian-Barré syndrome is an inflammatory affliction in which the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nerves — those nerves beyond the brain and spinal cord. The disorder causes severe weakness and numbness in the legs and arms , upper body and face. The muscles used for eye movement, speaking, chewing and swallowing also may become weak and paralyzed.

Every year an estimated one to four in every 100,000 persons is affected by the disorder, which can strike anyone regardless of race or age. It does, however, appear to be more of a risk as people age. It may occur days or weeks after a viral infection such as influenza or diarrhea and could be triggered by pregnancy or a medical procedure such as minor surgery. Because the cause of the disorder is unknown, there's no way to prevent it from occurring  Source  And  CNN  October 31, 2003

How many Americans Died in Wars?  *

Hi Diann,

I saw an article on 2-butoxyethanol recently in the Washington Post (I think) - possibly in a California paper because we were just in California.  Anyway, the article said that 2-butoxyethanol could affect an individual's chances of having children.  It also mentioned that it is in Windex and in many Simple Green products.  Unbelievable!!

Regards,
Pat
Yes, that is unbelievable

It is in SIMPLE Green
at 6% ... the very same chemical
only Dow Chemical calls it by their trade name, butyl cellusolve
and says it is non toxic
based on a test in which it was diluted about 30 times

Like a capful in a half gallon of water

Thanks for your input

For anemia, check kidney function:

Why Fatigue?? ?  *

Ask the doctors to look at the red blood cells and see if there is any autoimmune issue going on like hemolytic anemia

If there is something immature about the red blood cells, then they do manual checks on blood counts instead of by computer.

The chemical I would suspect for much anemia can target the kidneys and liver AFTER causing one's system to be autoimmune.  I learned yesterday that kidneys send something to the bone marrow for red blood cell production.

I had learned earlier that kidneys helped with red blood cell production AND with strong bones. (Sounds unreal)

This chemical exposure is the most probable cause of colon cancer & autoimmune issues and cancers with tumors anywhere AND leukemias, lymphomas, and brain tumors
.
GWS *, anemia, chronic fatigue, body destroying red blood cells

I arrived in country on December 25, 90 and departed May 91. I have since gone through periods of chronic fatigue which have gotten increasingly worse.

After a bout with an unexplainable anemia which healed itself last fall, I am now suffering with an even worse case. It seems to be cyclic. My doctor is at a loss. I know this is due to desert storm but I need some back up to get my doctor to take it seriously.

Anyone else out there going through this? I have never had the rash problem. Forgetfulness, joint pain, etc. , yes, but no rash.

If anyone out there has info they can share, please e-mail me.
