As I've shared with you already, 2-butoxyethanol does the kind of harm ... that should be suspect to harming parents of kids with ALD - especially moms, (but maybe moms of dads, too?)

My thoughts on this chemical:

 
Dr. Rea would be willing to work with those harmed by 2-butoxyethanol?  That would mean the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers, for sure.

Maybe in conjunction with a couple of other doctors who are doing trials with glyconutrients which would be a help to any still alive.

 
I've heard that there is 100 million on the table ... until 2006 ... due from Exxon for worker health issues, but who's coming forward?
 
 
This chemical, 2-butoxyethanol that is in Inipol EAP 22 (12% strong)
is in Simple Green (6% strong)
and in Corexit (38% strong) ... Corexit is a version of 409 Cleaner
 
This chemical is a primary health hazard since WWII days & before
It causes an immune system to go autoimmune ...
 
& is more probably the real harm to the Vietnam vet ... not dioxin as is generally thought
 
I suspect it is the cause of CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Syndromes) and
gulf war syndrome; many birth defects and cancers, such as Senator Specter has
 
Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers are VALUABLE to medical science

thank you for your information. it may be true what you are stating, unfortunately to prove it would cost an awful lot of money than we do not have.
 
at the moment we are concentrating our efforts on remyelinisation and individual treatments for the various leukodystrophies as well as MS.
 
once we have found a way to stop our children, wives, husbands and our friends from dying we will then try to find the reason for these diseases.
 
this does not mean we are not looking at the moment, but our main investigation has to be in stopping the diseases.

The best help seems to be glyconutrients.
I dismissed it at first as it seemed too good to be true
 
But it seems to aright the autoimmune immune system and then the body can heal itself - no advancing.
 
I suspect brain tumors and type 2 diabetes and syndrome X to be birth defects of the WWII generation on today's baby boomer population, too

essentially lorenzo`s oil is a glyconutrient, this has been proved to aid in preventing vlcfa. i also know that a university is at the moment studying glyconutrients in respect to MS.
 
so i am not dismissing your arguments, and i will translate some of your work for our members. i still have to stop by what i said in my last mail, we have to continue working on them lines that aid all of our members, for example MLD, Alexanders disease, krabbe, canavan or PMS (PMD). ALD (AMN) is unfortunately only one of many.

I think this is a diabetes causing chemical, and an  autoimmune causing chemical and that there are 3 ways to be exposed:
  • direct exposure (too much looks like 'the flu')
  • Indirect or 2nd hand solvent exposure (someone breathing out the fumes ... & their getting into your eyes)
