For the most part, unless
you got a test immediately (which most people wouldn't) the chemical
passes through your system ... not sure how long it is around, but it is
like a tornado chemical. It comes and goes - but the devastation left
behind. (IT is in some odd way listed as a pesticide, so that makes
sense.) I think it is in jet fuel (Numbers 2-6 are also labeled as
pesticides and have warnings similar to 2-butoxyethanol: defats the
skin; keep out of the water)
I checked with Accu-Chem
labs and they said they didn't have a test for
2-butoxyethanol. There may be one; however, they are very good with
detecting other dangerous chemicals & can find in blood/urine. Dr
Rea has info on chemical exposures & testing
The consortium of 8 chemical companies have lobbied
EPA to remove 2-butoxyethanol from the list of harmful
chemicals & now there are no restriction on how much companies can
emit into the air (worst exposure) You will find it in complex from at
10% strong in Scrubbing Bubbles; it's in 409
Cleaner
Lysol
Tub 'n Tile ETC
Dry cleaning and plastics business - ETC
Spot Shot Carpet cleaner brags about 25% being 2-butoxyethanol.
You don't find any warnings or product info on the can though
The Dept of Defense bought Corexit after the Exxon Valdez oil spill.
That should be disposed of as a hazardous waste as it is 38%
2-butoxyethanol and won't stay in its barrels
There is a website that lets you look up what products contain it &
its compound versions. Lots of household, automotive, carpentry
solvents, hobby craft items, too. It is very prevalent
Why can't the USA find the real cause of gulf war syndrome?
Also
I think Corexit was sitting in the Arms room (per one
soldier's comments).
I suspect it is the
Scuds/Patriot missiles in that war that put so much of the
'fumes in one's eyes'. The bomb fumes in the eyes of the war areas
of anyone in WWII would be an exposure & I suspect as the primary
cause of obesity and diabetes 2 & brain tumors & leukemias being
so prevalent these days
How prevalent is the harm of this chemical & compound versions??

How
prevalent is CFS, CFIDS, FM???? |
Let me tell
you about Conny
