A study done on butoxyethanol a
few years back showed it to be carcinogenic in animals. before I
got ill, I pulled up this later piece but could not read it, till
yesterday.
The carcinogenicicity findings
have not been reviewed for classification by IARCor the NTP.
however elevations in two experiments suggest that butoxyethanol
should be considered reasonable anticipated to cause
cancer in people. In addition the findings trigger a HAZARD
Communication requirement to disclose butoxyethanol as an
ingredient when present at 0.1.% in mixture, that such mixture
be labeled carcinogenic, and that hazard communication training
and M>S>D>s be updated to disclose this new hazard.
diann I believe I found this in
a site of scientific papers. a 2 page paper. The page at bottom
states http://www.uaw.org/hs/01/02/hs05.html
I have waited a long time for this, and I will send copy to the people
who destroyed my name .you might have this, I try to read all
your sites, last night. you knew about the hazard alert in 1983
for ethoxyethanol and methoxyethanol, and the brutal birth
defects and what is happening to the I>B>M>workers
where the finding showed that the M>E>and
E>E>acetate were implicated. and all the time
butoxyethanol was shown to be the most toxic. I have not told
you of the other shocking effect of the hypnotic influence, I
will try and tell you one day.
I am looking for a paper
tonight by a group in okanagan that writes or wrote papers
called "the other face of 2,4,d.'as I have a few pages that
mention butoxyethanol ester, and they questioned the same as I
have over the birth defects, somewhere around late 7Os.it was
written. hope this helps a bit and I will try and send you this
week the scientific paper showing B.E.damages fetus at lower
amount than others.
fondest regards pat
