By the way, you have been doing a lot of research, are there several scientific studies on 2-butoxyethanol in the past decades?

FIND ENCLOSED PUBLICATIONS REFERENCED ON MEDLINE FROM 1993 TO 2003 FOR "2-BUTOXYETHANOL".

Reply:
"RECENTLY REVIEWED THE MOST RECENT ARTICLES (FROM 1999 = DATE OF THE FENCH INSERM EXPERTISE ABOUT GLYCOL ETHERS). See RTF file. To give an immediate overviewed I identified 3 categories with color codes :
red for publications related to HEMATOTOXICITY
(grey for articles to be take cautiously)
black for miscellaneous;

In a nutshell,  THE main finding for the last decade is confirmation of HEMATOTOXITY, mainly THROMBOSE and related effects (see NTP studies).
Other findings of importance are :
- indication of immunototoxicity
- suspicion of cancerogenicity (for my part, I think 2-butoxyethanol interfers almost as promotor and/or other epigenetic effects)
- confirmation of skin absorption as a main route of exposure."
