*From WHO World Health Organization (via Toxins Awareness Group): paint solvents (such as 2-butoxyethanol) are carcinogenic, painters having a 40% higher chance of lung cancer and 20% higher of stomach, bladder, larynx, etc cancers,
while their children are at increased risk of leukaemia and brain tumours.
What Happened to Thelma opinion... what I think and why
I met a very fine woman, Thelma, who died about 2 years ago from a brain tumor. She was wife of a prominent banker and gave of her time to Women's Aglow as Area President of Central Illinois. Her friend, Helen, said that no one gets a brain tumor without the cancer starting somewhere else... However, the autopsy indicated it was a brain tumor only. I thought 12-20-02 of the information above quoted. I called Helen today and asked, "Did one of Thelma's parents have some strong chemical exposure?" Helen thought a moment & said...
"Once we were driving by a chemical plant, and Thelma shared that her father and brother worked at that plant" I also thought, that if she was a child of a chemically overexposed father, he would not still be alive, as Thelma was about 50. Helen continued, "Thelma's dad died when she was little."

Regarding Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup
Workers of Bioremediation, or those who ran into spills of Inipol EAP 22, please note:
2-butoxyethanol is a paint solvent, dry cleaning solvent, also used in dissolving plastics

* Pray for all those who have been chemically poisoned in their work
or innocent 'bystanders' of chemical 'accidents' even children *
Teach the little ones a lifestyle of avoiding chemicals, and eating right...
Also, an alkaline body pH keeps cancer cells from growing.
Spit on a piece of litmus paper to determine your body pH
Pray for those damage from their work during the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup *
and that Exxon will not dump any more chemicals into Alaskan waters *

| ... died of a rare
form of cancer of the joints; he commented in an interview
with Larry King - that as a young man he worked in a steel mill.
*
Could his Cancer have been
from chemicals he was exposed to?
What was he exposed to then? Are his children at health risk, such as Thelma was? No matter what, children who are born of parents who have been chemically poisoned can't take as much chemical exposures as the general population ... before chemically related health problems show up. |
