Exxon was making the concentration of poison, 2-butoxyethanol, 10-12 times as strong as the poison in a pesticide...

What really went wrong was the amount of time workers were exposed and inadequate protection. . . and the hazards of a high concentration * of 2-butoxyethanol in the product!

If they cared about their workers, why didn't they send you for 40 hours of training in handling hazardous materials?

If they cared about their workers, why didn't they post the full Material Safety Data Sheets at the job site?

If they cared about their workers, why didn't they take exposure limit tests when chemical work started?  ... and give you the results ... and tell you what it meant?

If they cared about their workers, why didn't they give Dr. Middaugh of the Alaska Health Dept more than 17 workers who were ill? *

If they cared about their workers, why did they want to have the court seal the 188 pages of health issues workers reported?  ... and the daily logs * and pictures of rain suits disintegrating?

If they cared about workers, why haven’t they done health monitoring ... & helped you with illnesses as they arose?

If they cared about their workers, why haven't they given them the results of their own blood work... those who were tested by them?
