Stomach Caner?  See about a stomach transplant?!  Lots of folks have their stomachs cut out to keep from eating too much.  Maybe someone's stomach could be given to you?  To which the Captain just laughed... it was a serious comment, though. 

7-10-02:   I heard a wonderful testimonial of a woman whose stomach was replaced with a goat's stomach in 1965. She lived to be 78 years old, only dying last year.  Even if you only have 1/4 stomach, it can expand.  Just eat lots of smaller meals...?
