Our group is open to veterans as well as their families, their friends and appreciative-supporters. There is still a major stigma on PTSD veterans. We need an advocacy group. We also need reasonable, PTSD disability accommodations. We are a major, forgotten group of honorable veterans. The different levels of federal and state governments are our worse discriminators. Yet there are more veterans wounded with PTSD than any other type of combat wound...

There are NO current disability accommodations for the PTSD disabled, so many PTSD veterans are never heard.

It's time that PTSD veterans, their families, their friends and their supporters are heard.

There is a Senator in Indiana who listened to Gulf war Vet, Chad Pagel.
Heard from Chad Nov, 2006 - Said he had improved health this past year. Prior I had not heard from him since Aug 5, 2005, I am pleased to hear he is OK. He told me that Christimas 03 he checked himself into the VA psych ward near him in Cloverdale, Indiana. I was so concerned that he might not get out and might not get real help, either. He did get out, and said he was not helped by the experience.

Asa Hutchison ran for Governor of Arkansas, sadly he didn't win. http://www.asaforgovernor.org/ But he had a heart to know what happened to the gulf war vets, and I'm sure he has a heart for all vets. There is nothing more powerful than you contacting your own senators & US Rep. Actually they generally do not listen to people outside of their district. AND contact YOUR Governor!

I think you should couple your request for a search for any in mental institutions, for there would be proof of the chemical poisoning, and what is given to most VETS for their care' is nothing more than legal drug pushing and sending them to the grave before they would have died.

Johnny, unless the chronic cough is a specific ailment, it would most probably be a new exposure to a chemical such as 2-butoxyethanol. I believe it is the chemical that causes all of these issues, and if you get more exposure, you can have something worse show up, or something that you have already can get worse. It is in so many cleaning products ... and in paint ... and in gun cleaners, and jet fuel, I think, too. Take careful note of what is going on around you when this cough shows up.

Someone thinks it should go before the House Judiciary ... & stop all this willy nilly approval or disapproval of VETS' claims (For their disability & health damage during their period of service)
I think overexposure to 2-butoxyethanol should be 'on the list' of disability claim approval all eras ... back to before WWII ... in and out of war times... and all of them.
