OPEN LETTER

It is very obvious that the Gulf War Syndrome is some type of chemical poisoning.

Usually medical doctors treat symptoms... & don't have training in chemical effects on people.  They can work with one of the consultants in this area, though, and be a help to those who are exposed to chemicals to the point of overexposure.  Or a Gulf War Syndrome vet can seek out an environmental toxicologist or naturopathic doctor who specializes in this area.

check:  www.valdezlink.com/contents.htm

You will find the consultants they can work with that I've heard of.  There are only a couple of labs in the country that can do this type of testing... & not everything is tested for...

 but if oil has damaged someone, they will also have aplastic anemia;

if 2-butoxyethanol ... common in industry and in cleaning compounds at home... has damaged someone, they will also have hemolytic anemia  *

.... my theory anyway.  IF you have proof for or against, please share with me.

Of course, with 2-butoxyethanol there are other concerns, too, like central nervous system damage, skin damage, concern for kidney and liver function & every aspect of the blood forming organs, bone marrow, also reproductive concerns. *  Check the information on the website:  www.valdezlink.com/home.htm  originally written to help workers of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill cleanup to learn what they needed to know about the chemicals used then.  Also  *

All the info I've learned is on my website.

Best wishes

I am not a medical person, at all; however, medical doctors might benefit from more ideas to check into

& I wish them the best in helping the people who are coming to them.

The Questions I put to them:  "Is there any cure for hemolytic anemia caused from 2-butoxyethanol?"

"Is there any cure for aplastic anemia caused from benzene in crude oil?"

... More Questions:  Can someone have aplastic anemia and hemolytic anemia at the same time?  If so, could the lab tell by additionally checking how the red blood cells look under the microscope?  If you don't have enough blood, could you collapse & would it look the same as having a heart attack?  Would not having enough blood cause headaches?  ... seizures?  How do you tell if  you have enough volume of blood?  Can blood transfusions help?  If so, for how long are they helpful?

Are we seeing more people with tumor of the brain nowadays than in the past?

If a parent has strong exposure to 2-butoxyethanol type chemicals... the World Health Organization says their children are at higher risk for leukemia and tumor of the brain.  If caught early, though, isn't there a good chance of 'pulling through?'  Thelma of IL had 2 tumors of the brain; the one that was 'pea' sized didn't kill her; but the golf-ball-sized one did, per autopsy, which stated there was no cancer anywhere else in her body

OSHA was checking solvent exposures for 46,000 auto workers recently.  Maybe my friend who is angry at God for letting her little 5 year old son die of a brain tumor long years ago... should instead be angry at industry who allowed her husband, a General Motors employee... have some chemical exposures?  I wonder how old her husband was when he died?  Remember Robert Urich?  He worked in a steel mill as a young man.  He died of a rare form of cancer of the joints.

Has the military purchased some Corexit from Exxon since it came into existence, July, 1989?  Hazardous!

Maybe this is the source of 2-butoxyethanol poisoning of our troops and lungs which fill up with fluid?
