Just because ... doesn't mean ...

I suspect many get 'flu-like' symptoms from exposure to 2-butoxyethanol

It is in many products & little or no warnings ...

The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill chemical of cleanup 2-butoxyethanol  causes

FLU symptoms but it is a chemical poisoning of which diabetes may be a side effect & the body becomes autoimmune - thus ignoring the viruses & bacteria it should be going after.

Just some thoughts I've had ...

Just because there is a virus or a bacteria found ...

does not mean it is that

that is causing severe FLU side effects - bubonic plague (bacteria) or Pandemic WWI Spanish flu (Virus)

Margaret, I am so familiar with people working on the Valdez Oil Spill. And am familiar with this stuff. Paul sent me this link for the EMF's. Gets me they are still using this stuff. Ann

I was wondering yesterday whether or not it could be in air conditioning units.  A lady shared with me how her eyes burned when she was using one (earlier in her life), and that caused me to wonder whether the freeon might have this mixed in. (She has horrible fiibromyalgia that has significantly disrupted her life)

How do you know a lot about the Exxon Valdez oil spill ?

Exxon sold our worst product to the Dept of Defense & I suspect some of our soldiers have been running into the Corexit ever since.  I've taken an interest in the Gulf War Syndrome because what these soldiers came down with 'looks like'  what happened to the EVOS workers with known & suspected exposure to 2-butoxyethanol

You shared,

.... was looking   this up for a gal in Florida. She is has MCS bad.  I have fibro that is really disrupted my life.  The pain...Arrrrrrgh, RA, supposed MS, Lupus.

Her eyes were burning so badly.

Yes the stuff is in Freon.

What I do have is:
261 Freon 12 (Dichlorodifluoromethane)
75-71-8 261
(Freon 14) see Tetrafluormethane)
261 Freon 113 or TF (Trichlorotrifluoroethane)
76-13-1 V
Freon 116 (see Hexafluoroethane)
261 Freon TMC (Freon TF, 50% and
X Dichloromethane, 50%)
(2-Furaldehyde) see Furfura

Ann, thank you.

When your friend's eyes are burning ask her to see what is going on right then.

That is a big clue to an exposure to 2-butoxyethanol as is diarrhea, blood in urine.

The military name for CFS is 'gulf war syndrome' but it also looks like the real harm to the Vietnam Vet, the Korean Vet, today's military & housewife alike

Some help - Avoid all exposures to 2-butoxyethanol - so study upon it;

Good nutrition and glyconutrient food supplements
