I have gone down a lot of dead ends looking for 'the picture of harm' of the 'gulf war syndrome' vets. Organophosphates, depleted uranium, saran gas, warm soda pop, vaccinations. Each item could do some of the harm they put forward, but the best match for their harm is EGBE or 2-butoxyethanol First I noticed that these worse-than-a-migraine type of headache was the same as that of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup worker ... the chemical after oil exposures that is common to both groups is 2-butoxyethanol May affect multiple other body systems & organs Hormones out of range - High or Low - Especially the Pituitary Maybe pituitary headaches - something related to hormones Jeff's ended after puberty Barb's ended when she entered menopause Changes in blood sugar - blood pressure - often but not always AUTOIMMUNE ISSUES * Then you ask, "Why is it that our spouses and children born before we were deployed ... when we come back ... they come down with 'the syndrome' too?" I believe that is second hand solvent exposure ... those poisoned by this chemical breath it out in their respiration for a time ... it gets in the eyes of those who are around them too much Many of these things should be suspect What was used to spray down vehicles to 'decontaminate' them? . .. something like a spray painting apparatus system
Even Affecting Dept of Defense Civilians in Iraq and at home.
Military Decontaminating agents: ethylene glycol monomethyl ether! CH3OCH2CH2OH ____________________________ What about CARP painting?
Wind would blow the chemical in others' eyes, too
